﴿ أَيَحْسَبُ الْإِنسَانُ أَن يُتْرَكَ سُدًى﴾

﴿ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا تُوبُوا إِلَى اللَّهِ تَوْبَةً نَّصُوحًا عَسَىٰ رَبُّكُمْ أَن يُكَفِّرَ عَنكُمْ سَيِّئَاتِكُمْ وَيُدْخِلَكُمْ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ يَوْمَ لَا يُخْزِي اللَّهُ النَّبِيَّ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مَعَهُ ۖ نُورُهُمْ يَسْعَىٰ بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَبِأَيْمَانِهِمْ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا أَتْمِمْ لَنَا نُورَنَا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ﴾

I learned a new word today

Moonstruck: adj, slightly mad ; wild and wandering.

What caught my attention is the history of the world.
Before, in the 17th century,  people used to believe that staying under the moon for so long can affect your mind and make you mentally ill.
Moonstruck derived from the Latin word "Lunaticus" , which luna means moon and -ticus is a suffix indicating a condition.
Now the word is used to describe someone who is unable to think or act normally,  especially as a result of being in love.
