Channels

The main Difference between a Group and a Channel is that Channels are Designed for One-way Communication. Only Owners or Administrators can Publish Messages, making them Ideal for Announcements, News, Educational Content, Businesses, Offering Products or Services, and other Information that is meant to Reach a Large Audience. Depending on the Channel's Settings, Members may also be able to React to Posts or leave Comments through a linked Discussion Group.

Groups

Groups, on the other hand, allow Members to Communicate with each other. Depending on the Owner's Purpose, they can be used for Chatting & Fun, General Advertisement, Advertisement of a Specific Group or Service, Reporting Scammers, News Discussions, Support, Communities, and much more.
Each Group has its own Rules, Usually found in the Group's Description or Pinned Messages. These Rules are expected to be followed, and failing to do so may result in a Warning, Mute, or Ban.

Telegram's ecosystem is a Collection of Groups, Channels, and People that are Capable of Obtaining certain things and Providing Services that You might find Useful in the Digital world. Instead of relying on the hidden dark web, which requires special Browsers to find what one might Need, Telegram's ecosystem is easier to Access and Generally easier to Use. However, those Perks come with a Trade-off in terms of safety, as If a judicial authority presents a Valid legal request confirming that a User is a Suspect in a Crime, Telegram will be required to Cooperate with global Authorities.

How to access Telegram's ecosystem

Since this ecosystem doesn't Work like a search Engine, if You are looking for something specific, You will need to go to a Group that allows people to Advertise. From there, You Should browse the Group to see if You can find Either what You are looking for or an Advertisement for another Group. You can then Join It by either clicking on a link (https://t.me/example) or by Messaging the User who Sent the message and kindly asking for Access to the Group or Channel.

Middle Man & OG Middle Man

Middle Man

Also known as MM, a Middle Man is a person that Takes Money From the Buyer, Then requests the Seller to give the Product to the Buyer and allows them time to Check whether the Product is in good condition or the correct Thing that they Wanted. If nothing is Wrong with the Product, the MM will give the Money to the Seller.

Now You may ask, What does the Middle Man get from this, and couldn't the Middle Man just take both the Product and the Money? The answer is No. There is a Thing called a Middle Man fee that Prevents that. It is basically a Sum that is Calculated as a Percentage of the Money that goes through the Middle Man during the current deal.

How to know which MM to trust

There are MMs that are called "OG Middle Man" / "OGUsers" and are Generally known throughout the Telegram ecosystem. They have Thousands of successful deals, Years of experience, which is where the Name comes from, and Groups with Legit Vouches. We wouldn't advise trusting anyone who Insists on using a Random Middle Man "Because they have a cheaper fee" or for any other Reason. The Photo above Shows some of the Most Trusted Middle Men.

Scams & Preventing of It

Scammers

There are many People that will try to scam You in a Variety of ways. You can prevent this and Determine whether a Person is Legit or Not by checking a Few Things.

1. Legit Stores often have a Vouch Channel where messages are Forwarded from Chats showing that the Person has successfully completed a Deal, or where the Person who made the Deal sends a Message Directly in that Channel. Be aware that if a Service or Store has a Vouch Chaneel it does Not immediately mean that they are Legit. There are also Non-Legit Vouch Channels. You can often spot them by looking at how Unnatural the Bios of the People who Vouched look, as well as by using Pattern Recognition. For example, pay attention to how Often one specific User has Sent a Vouch there and whether other People have also Sent multiple Vouches.

2. If a Person insists that You should go first and doesn't want to do the Deal through any Trusted MM, then they are Most likely not Legit. However, this Sometimes depends on the Amount. The following examples are only Approximate and should not be treated as a Rule. For example, if the Deal is worth around ~5$, Most People will not want to use an MM because of the Minimal fee. However, if the Deal is worth around ~50$ or more, refusing to use a Trusted MM becomes increasingly Suspicious and may be a Sign of a Scam and If the Amount is 100$ or more, it is a Strong indication of a scam, although it should not be considered Definitive on its own.

Known Scams

Dirty Crypto

Also known as a Crypto Transfer Scam, this is a very obvious Scam where the Scammer creates the illusion of being a Criminal or Hacker who simply wants to launder their Funds. They offer to Double any amount of Money You send them by exchanging it for Crypto that is allegedly stolen, being tracked by the Police due to an Investigation, or for Other reasons.

Exchange Signal

This is another popular Scam in the Trading Community where the Scammer manages what appears to be a Normal Group meant for Signals that show the Movement of Market Assets. They create the illusion of being your Friend and a Humble Person who Wants to help. After some Time, they post a Signal that Allegedly points to a website claiming to offer a higher Asset exchange Rate than the Actual Market.

For example:

If You were to buy 100$ worth of an Asset through a Legit Site and then Proceed to exchange it Through that specific Exchange, You would supposedly end up with 105$. In reality, the website is Fake, and once You send Your Assets to it, You will most likely lose them.

An Exchange is a Service in Which a Person executing Your order Swaps Money from One Currency into another Digital Currency or Payment Method of Your Choosing, such as PayPal, Crypto, Revolut, Bank Transfer, Cash App, etc. These Services are carried out Professionally and are intended to make the exchange Process as simple as possible. With No questions asked.

The Service is based on an Exchange Fee, which is Usually around 5% of the exchanged Amount. However, most Serious Exchanges also have a "Minimal fee" that Prevents losses While processing Smaller orders.

Private Links

Unlike public links, which can be Created by anyone and Searched by Anyone, private Groups and Channels provide another layer of Protection. They can still be joined by anyone who has the link, but the links cannot be Created simply by using a username as part of a Valid link.

Private links Always begin with a "+" where a public link would normally contain the username. Everything after the "+" consists of a randomly Generated combination of Uppercase and Lowercase Letters. This means private links are Sensitive to Upper and Lower case Letters, so they must be Rewritten carefully. Otherwise, they will not point to the correct Group, Channel etc.
