Bab al-Mandab battle: Trump watches on

Saudi Arabia has asked Trump to intervene as Yemeni forces advance on Bab al-Mandab, but Washington is staying out. With ammunition stocks depleted and the Iran front prioritized, opening a new front is too costly. Analysts say Trump is also punishing Riyadh for refusing to join the Iran warβ€”and letting oil prices rise to pressure the world.

Newly discovered 'Sasanian' rock engravings depict mountain goat, horses in southern Iran

Needle-engraved rock art dating to the Sasanian period (224–651 CE) has been found on the Marvdasht Plain in southern Iran. The 5x4 cm image of a seated mountain goat was made using a scratching technique. Researchers say the goat symbolized "Farr-e Izadi" (divine glory), while horses represented royal legitimacy, military power, and ritual.

War on Iran the greatest error in US history

A US commentator argues the war on Iran may be the greatest strategic mistake in American historyβ€”and that its failure could hasten the end of the US "empire." He laments campus apathy compared to the 1970s, describes Washington as a kakistocracy captured by Zionist lobbies, and doubts Democrats offer real change. He sees slow-growing public awareness as the only hope.

IRGC spox: Hollywood-style narratives cannot change battlefield realities

πŸ”ΉIRGC Spokesman Brigadier General Hossein Mohebbi dismissed US media accounts of a pilot rescue in Iran as "Hollywood-style narratives," saying America repeatedly resorts to cinematic stories to compensate for its defeats.

πŸ”Ή"Since the war began, the US president has repeatedly won in his imagination and on social media," Mohebbi said, adding that Americans piece together footage from unrelated incidents to fabricate such scenes.

πŸ”ΉHe noted that alongside the rescue account, images showed pieces of a targeted F-15 being collected in a wheelbarrow.

Ali Al-Taher: Why Netanyahu needed a closure

Israel's weeks-long focus on Ali al-Taher Hill served as a distraction from its devastation of Mansoury and other southern Lebanese towns, analysts say. Netanyahu declared "operational control" on September 3, then blasted the hill on September 10β€”a manufactured victory to boost his election standing against Gadi Eisenkot, and to justify pulling back to a 3 km occupied zone.
