Pakistan's Geo TV network, citing informed sources, has reported that the next round of negotiations between Tehran and Washington will likely be held in the Pakistani capital next week.

According to the report:

🔹 The second round of Iran-US talks is expected to take place in Islamabad during the coming week.

🔹 Necessary orders have been issued to ensure logistical and security preparations for hosting the talks.

Mohsin Naqvi, Pakistan's Minister of Interior, is also accompanying Field Marshal Asim Munir, the Commander of the Pakistani Army, on his visit to Iran, according to reports.

Iran, China FMs hold phone talks on regional developments, Iran-US negotiations

Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Wang Yi, China's Minister of Foreign Affairs, held a telephone conversation to discuss and exchange views on the latest regional and international developments, as well as the progress of Iran-US negotiations in Islamabad.

Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran's Foreign Minister, spoke by phone with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, Qatar's Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.

🔹 Araghchi stated: "Just as Iran has acted firmly on the battlefield in defending its national sovereignty and territorial integrity, it has entered the diplomatic process with a responsible approach to safeguard its national interests and preserve regional peace and security."

🔹 Sheikh Mohammed emphasized Qatar's full support for continued mediation efforts to end the conflict and restore regional stability.

The call reflects ongoing Qatari diplomatic engagement as Tehran prepares for a second round of Iran-US talks, expected to be hosted by Pakistan next week.

Damage to Chehel Sotoun Palace worsens as shockwave impact persists

The historic Chehel Sotoun Palace continues to deteriorate weeks after nearby US-Israeli airstrikes, with decorative elements still collapsing and structural concerns growing.

Amir Karamzadeh, director-general of cultural heritage for Isfahan province, said the damage has worsened compared to assessments made a month ago. "Some of the damage is progressive," he told IRNA, noting the impact is more serious than initially estimated.

Experts warn that restoring visible decorations without addressing structural weaknesses could lead to repeated collapse.

Emergency funding has been allocated. Teams of specialists in wooden ornamentation, metal structures, and mirrorwork have been deployed to stabilize the palace.

Chehel Sotoun is a 17th-century Safavid pavilion and part of the UNESCO-listed "Persian Garden" ensemble.

At least 28 historical monuments in Isfahan province have been damaged in the recent attacks.
