New trade route: Pakistan-Iran transit corridor launches with first shipment to Uzbekistan
🔹 The transit corridor between Pakistan and Iran has officially begun operations with the dispatch of the first commercial shipment from Pakistan to Uzbekistan via the Islamic Republic of Iran.
🔹Pakistan's Director of Customs for Transit Trade, told the Express Tribune that under this corridor, Pakistani shipments will be sent through Gwadar Port and Iran to Central Asian countries.
