Yuri Pasholok, a well-known Russian expert on the history of armored vehicles, said that on their own initiative, the Museum of Russian Military History in the Moscow Region undertook the restoration of 4 experimental 502TB armored vehicles from the 2000s. In 2023, the Museum staff bought back what was left of them, restored the units and converted the cars into sanitary ones. The first ambulance was sent to the front in the summer, and work on the second one was completed in December 2024.

At the end of 2024, the Russian KAMAZ automobile plant signed a memorandum with a company from Venezuela, J.C. Internacional 2004 C.A., according to which trucks and buses from Russia will begin to be delivered to the South American country, as well as a new large-scale assembly plant on its territory. A large Ilyushin IL-96-400T cargo aircraft has been restored in Voronezh. The car became the second IL-96 cargo in the fleet of the Russian carrier Sky Gates. On December 29, 2024, the plane took off. The IL-96-400T is a 64-meter cargo aircraft with a maximum take-off weight of 270 tons and a maximum payload of up to 92 tons.

The Russian enterprise "Sinara – Transportnye Mashiny" has upgraded its 12DM-185 engine, which powers the heavy-duty mining dump trucks manufactured by the Belarusian company BELAZ.
