Inspired by nature, the image of flower petals dancing in the wind shows up. Embedded with strong childlike sensation but never get rid of practicality, the petal-like volumes are assigned as several modules each containing specific functional program inside.
Three module types are set as independent and replicable units, which can be prefabricated and then assembled on-site, forming a flexible system of construction within a controllable time and feasible to conduct in phases as well.
The classroom module is carefully shaped to fulfill the daylight and scale requirements from the regulations, at the same time creating unique activity spaces for children.........

#Beijing-based studio #AOE #Architects has completed a multi-use building, called โOne Sino Parkโ in Chongqing, #China. Designed and constructed into the mountain face of a rocky cliffside, the #3,000 square meter structure integrates the geometric forms of the surrounding rock formations with its sculptural elements. With One Sino Park, AOE highlights the relationships between architecture, nature and the people of Chongqing with its bold deconstructivist style.
#The main entrance of the building is located on the third level, providing access to main sales center functional areas, as well as a heated swimming pool and health club on the ground level. One Sino Park plans to develop into a community art center in the future, as it houses exhibition spaces across the second and third floors, and a small art gallery on the top level. The open floor plan creates an inclusive environment......

#Description provided by architect: Called ยซThe Pearl of West Indiesยป, Haiti was during a long time the most visited country of the Greater Antilles representing the occidental third of Hispaniola Island. Devastated in 2010 by an #earthquake measuring 7.0 on the Richter scale, the country has now to be rebuilt from new innovative architectural and town-planning concepts.
#The Coral Reef project plans a matrix to build a three dimensional and energy self-sufficient village from one and only standardised and prefabricated module in order to rehouse the refugees from such humanitarian catastrophes. This basic module is simply made of two passive houses (with metallic structure and tropical wood facades) interlocked in duplex around a transversal horizontal circulation linking every unit.
