🧐 AHL architects explain that traditional homes in Vietnam have long used buffer zones—such as deep verandas, lattices, thick walls, and trees—for #cooling in the #tropical climate. The porch, in particular, plays a crucial role as a transitional, #multipurpose #space connecting indoor and outdoor #environments, common in northern Vietnamese homes.

🎮Inspired by this #concept, the DHY house was designed by a famous #fashion #designer for her #mother in Thai Nguyen. It combines living spaces with porches and buffer zones in various proportions.

Its design integrates #harmoniously into the landscape, prioritizing the immersive #experience with large openings and so-terraces that make it blend into the #environment. It stands out for its system of public spaces that connects the #project with the landscape, creating a dynamic and integrated #experience.
