CEFE: Between nodes of Art, Culture and Nature 

The #project being developed is a Happiness Center located in Cali’s Comuna 22, specifically in the Barrio Ciudad Jardín, at the intersection of Calle 13 and Carrera 105, in front of the Babilla Lake. This initiative represents a signifi- cant turning point in the local urban #environment by recovering and highlighting the #environmental logic that previously characterized this area.

The project’s main objective is to create a space that fosters the #integration and wellbeing of the #community wellbeing, providing meeting places at both the local and urban level.

#@madarchitects MAD Architects announces the design for the #upcoming construction of #Lishui #Airport in #Zhejiang Province.

Lishui, a “forest city” in southwest Zhejiang Province, is renowned for its lush greenery and valleys. Its first airport is positioned as a domestic regional airport with an #anticipated annual passenger throughput of one million, located in the hilly terrain that 15 kilometers southwest of the city. The #planning and design try to respect the original site while ensuring accessibility, highlighting the characteristics of a #mountain #airport, and aiming to inspire tourism…

Kaohsiung Port Terminal

Kaohsiung Port Terminal, designed by #reiser_umemoto_rur in Taiwan, with an approach to #dynamic 3-dimensional urbanism. The building itself resembles a #giant #silver-white ship with a towering “chimney” structure. This also reflects the #maritime character of the port.

The layout #consists of interconnected, spacious #shells built using a steel pipe framework covered with cladding panels to create an #accessible, enclosed space. The terminal is divided into three sections, each #corresponding to a distinct route for ship travel, while the concourses are positioned parallel to the# waterfront to optimize the #connection between water and land.
