#ZahaHadid #architects ME Dubai hotel at the Opus receives 2020 Legend Award from @DeparturesMag in their list of the world’s most stunning new buildings.
Located in the Burj Khalifa district adjacent to Downtown Dubai and Business Bay on the Dubai Water Canal, the Opus by #ZahaHadid Architects for @OmniyatOfficial explores the balance between solid and void, opaque and transparent, interior and exterior.
Designed as two separate towers that coalesce into a singular whole, the Opus takes the form of a cube. The cube has been ‘eroded’ in its centre, creating a free-form void that is an important volume of the design in its own right. The two halves of the building on either side of the void are linked by a four-storey atrium at ground level and also connected by an asymmetric 38 metre wide, three-storey bridge 71 metres above the ground.

#parametric #architecture Arachne is a digital architectural endeavor by Archi-Solution Workshop, to redefine an ordinary building with 3D printed components. To reflect its literal title, Arachne is designed and installed by the spatially intertwined lattices that hung on the building in the curtain wall mechanism.

#In the fall of 2019, Overseas Chinese Town (OCT) appointed RMJM Shenzhen to design a new landmark gateway development into Pingshan New District. As one of China’s foremost developers, OCT have a long track record of developing iconic and vibrant destination projects. 😍😍The #best #airport 🛫 in the world has just got even better!
For seven years in a row, Singapore #Changi #Airport ✈️ has led the global airport rankings, receiving the prestigious Skytrax World Airport Awards 🌏. And after the opening of the unique Jewel complex, I have no doubt, that in the coming years, the main airport of Singapore will retain this title.
The dome of the building, which combined three of the four terminals of the airport, is made of metal and glass - isn't it a diamond? There are 10 floors of functionality and relaxation, an 📽IMAX with 11 cinema halls, 280 shops, cafes and restaurants, and even a separate hotel with 130 rooms. The upper level is designed for a recreation area with children - there are rope ladders, labyrinths, slides and even a 50-meter suspension bridge with a transparent floor. And the 🌊 Rain Vortex waterfall became the main complex attraction.....
