Through its extraordinary architecture the new Sauska Winery of Tokaj, Hungary ventures upon reviving Padi-Hill. Aware of the surrounding World Heritage Wine Region, instead of a traditional „house-like” winery building, only two, statuesque bowls are floating above the wine yard at the heart of the scheme.

#ZahaHadid #architects ME Dubai hotel at the Opus receives 2020 Legend Award from @DeparturesMag in their list of the world’s most stunning new buildings.

Located in the Burj Khalifa district adjacent to Downtown Dubai and Business Bay on the Dubai Water Canal, the Opus by #ZahaHadid Architects for @OmniyatOfficial explores the balance between solid and void, opaque and transparent, interior and exterior.

Designed as two separate towers that coalesce into a singular whole, the Opus takes the form of a cube. The cube has been ‘eroded’ in its centre, creating a free-form void that is an important volume of the design in its own right. The two halves of the building on either side of the void are linked by a four-storey atrium at ground level and also connected by an asymmetric 38 metre wide, three-storey bridge 71 metres above the ground.

To reflect its literal title, Arachne is designed and installed by the spatially intertwined lattices that hung on the building in the curtain wall mechanism.

RMJM's #Shenzhen studio announce the New Pingshan Eye.

#In the fall of 2019, Overseas Chinese Town (OCT) appointed ​RMJM Shenzhen to design a new landmark gateway development into Pingshan New District. As one of China’s foremost developers, OCT have a long track record of developing iconic and vibrant destination projects. Located on a cleared site immediately adjacent to the main arterial route from Shenzhen to Pingshan, the design is the centrepiece to the new gateway developments that will define and complete the neighbourhood’s eccentric and historic character.
