The 62-storey One Thousand Museum residential tower’s concrete exoskeleton - a web of flowing lines integrating structural support with lateral bracing - continues Zaha Hadid Architects’ research into high-rise construction that defines a fluid architectural expression consistent with the engineering for the entire height of a structure.

Reading from top to bottom as one continuous frame, columns at its base fan out as the tower rises to meet at the corners, forming a rigid tube highly resistant to Miami’s demanding wind loads; its curved supports creating hurricane resistant diagonal bracketing.

Marina One in Singapore,Ingenhovenarchitects largest project to date, officially opened about two years ago. As an international model for living and working, Marina One contributes to the discourse on megacities, especially in tropical regions, which face enormous challenges in the context of increasing population and climate change.⠀

The building complex’s organic shape with its iconic louvres and the generous planting improve the microclimate and increase biodiversity. Inspired by Asian paddy field terraces, the Green Heart reflects the diversity of tropical flora and creates a new habitat for over 350 plant and even some animal species. The Green Heart lies in the middle of the four towers and features multi-story three-dimensional gardens, which were realized in close cooperation with landscape architects Gustafson Porter + Bowman.⠀
