The dangers of escalation and the need for a quick resolution to the Russia-Ukraine conflict:

Proxy battles never end well for the proxy.

https://technofog.substack.com/p/the-americans-itching-for-war?utm_source=url
Russia's "red line" of NATO expansion and Western involvement in Ukraine - that which risked Russia invading Ukraine - has been an understanding of the US for ~20 years. Fiona Hill, the Regime's favorite Russia "expert", predicted in 2008 that Russia might take preemptive military action in response to potential NATO expansion to the East.

The regime's proxy is Ukraine but their target is Russia. Consider the possibility that the West wanted war. Not for the benefit of Ukraine, as its people would suffer the costs and casualties. But for the West to weaken Putin (through penalties and sanctions and damage to their currency and economy) and increase the likelihood of regime change within Russia.

For those in the Regime who hope for regime change in Russia: be careful what you wish for, because Putin's predecessor - if it comes to that - might be much worse.
Michael Sussmann is trying to get his case dismissed. Special Counsel Durham responds.

Notable:
Sussmann used sensitive data from the Executive Office of the President (transition period) to falsely claim "Trump and/or his associates were using a type of Russian-made wireless phone in the vicinity of the White House and other locations."

That info was passed to the CIA.

Beware the false flags.

But also beware the fake news and false promises, as they are the means for dangerous ends: increased U.S. and NATO involvement in the war between Russia and Ukraine.

Their diminished likelihood of success in Ukraine only increases their desperation.

The decision to arm Ukraine does not come without costs. While U.S. troops may not be put in harms way in this conflict (fingers crossed), it's only a matter of time before the Regime puts Americans in another war, whether in the Middle East or elsewhere.

When that time comes, how will Russia respond? How many Russian weapons will be supplied to our adversaries and how many American soldiers will die?

Something to think about.

Brief Special Counsel John Durham update -

Durham previously informed the Court of potential conflicts of interest concerning Michael Sussmann's attorneys.

Here's a new one: Sussmann's attorneys at Latham & Watkins, LLP represent Twitter in matters involving Twitter's general counsel, James Baker.

DNC/Clinton lawyer Sussmann is accused of lying to Baker (who at the time was the FBI general counsel) in the fall of 2016.
Russia is alleged to have bombed a Ukrainian maternity hospital.

Was that a false flag? The evidence - including the photographs of the bomb "crater" and the damage to the buildings - suggests there is more to the story.

Do you see anything curious about the location of the "bomb" crater in relation to the damage to the building??

They promised that “it takes a village to raise a gender nonconforming child.”

And they're using schools - the power of the state - to enforce that promise.

We were provided with the transcript from today's Michael Sussmann motion to dismiss hearing.

The real juicy bits:

Why the dismissal is likely to fail... and....

Why the Clinton Campaign and Fusion GPS will likely lose their fight to keep "privileged" info from Durham.

Take another look at the Mariupol maternity hospital bombing -

The official story is that a single “air-dropped munition” caused the damage to the buildings. (The crater). Emphasis on "single" munition.

Not only is the damage to the buildings inconsistent with the location of the crater - but the witness says there were "TWO" shells, not one - and no air raid.
New texts from DNC/Clinton lawyer Michael Sussmann are damning to his criminal defense.

Questions of whether Democrat lawyer Marc Elias has been granted immunity.

And - Durham suggests a conspiracy involving "agents of the Clinton Campaign"

New - Letter from Special Counsel John Durham to Michael Sussmann's attorneys:

The Special Counsel's expert may testify to the possibility that the Alfa Bank/Trump data "was fabricated, altered, manipulated, spoofed, or intentionally generated..."
Special Counsel John Durham continues his focus on the Clinton Campaign - specifically, whether the Clinton Campaign was part of the conspiracy to provide false information to the FBI/DOJ.

Durham seemingly concludes the Alfa Bank/Trump data was falsified.

And - John Podesta has been interviewed by the Special Counsel.

Michael Sussmann's motion to dismiss has been denied. The judge rejects Sussmann's argument that his lies weren't material.

They're going to trial on May 16, absent further developments (continuance, plea, etc.)
