Maybe they even hate you. Your children will suffer the consequences of debt but their children - Facebook, Amazon, Google - will thrive.
They send you to die in Iraq or Afghanistan or Syria while their comrades profit.
Your family may struggle to earn a living wage, but the workforce of their corporate masters - low skilled immigration, foreign tech workers - will enjoy the jobs you lost.
Keeping an eye on the Kevin Clinesmith case. Sentencing is on Jan 29. Carter Page arguing he is a victim entitled to restitution. DOJ trying to argue that Carter Page isn’t a victim of a falsified document in support of FISA warrant. Expect the judge to rule on that issue in the next week.

If you’re curious what life would be like under Kamala Harris: a continuation of legal abuses against political enemies.

A reminder to myself that may help others: slow down and focus on the local and small. DC - the place that takes so much of our attention - is foreign. Our home is with our families and our community.
Information on the Don Lemon assault case coming through. As a refresher: Lemon is accused of a gross sexual act. See pic.
Don Lemon's lawyers have done all they can to attack the victim. Today, the victim's lawyers notified the Court that Lemon's attorneys publicly filed a file-sharing link that included confidential and sensitive information. The info on the victim "was immediately breached by members of the general public"
New York Times: Prosecutors drop investigation of Flynn/Kislyak Leak. No charges filed. We had previously confirmed that the leak occurred on January 5, 2017 to Adam Entous of WaPo (and not to David Ignatius on January 12, 2017).
Remember that an inauguration is nothing but a public relations spectacle. The attempt to continue momentum from an election. Their chance to promise to make your life better, to bring the country together. They praise democracy today but will try to pack the courts tomorrow. They ask for unity from the stage but will use their powers to resume targeting their political enemies. They say they will “heal” the nation as they crush dissent. Don’t focus on their empty words but, instead, concentrate on their acts.
Plans to come. The militarization of the Capitol isn’t for safety but to exaggerating a threat to justify what is to come: Congressional hearings, investigations of conservative groups and donors, etc. It’ll dominate the news cycle (with a compliant media) for the next 2+ years.
At today's inauguration, Biden quoted St. Augustine as saying a people are "defined by the common objects of their love." But St. Augustine goes deeper and says to "observe what they love."

Observing what the Biden administration loves: their first priority is to immediately reinstate taxpayer funding for abortions here and abroad.
Change the narrative. This isn’t hypocrisy, although it is that. It is an exercise of raw power to make you submit. The message is that the rules apply to you, not them. That you don’t matter. Ignore their rules and they lose their power.
The other day we mentioned the Democrat plan moving forward: elevate the “riot” to go after their opponents. Today, House Dems announced their plan to investigate Parler and even referred Parler to the FBI. It won’t stop there. Expect them to look into fundraising and donors. They will subpoena records from those who challenged the election, conservative websites, etc.
