WinAmp finally officially released their source code about 6 hours ago: https://github.com/WinampDesktop/winamp

Tech crimes include:
- Huge license restrictions on the source code, to the point of conflicting with GitHub's terms of service: https://github.com/WinampDesktop/winamp/issues/6
- The license is probably conflicting even with Belgian law: https://github.com/WinampDesktop/winamp/issues/24
- Source code to SHOUTcast DNAS, a proprietary paid program for radio station broadcast and monetization that most definitely did not give them the right to distribute the code: https://github.com/WinampDesktop/winamp/issues/11
- Header files to Dolby AAC codec, which may be legal to distribute, but still dubious (edit: and more various definitely proprietary Dolby code, see issue): https://github.com/WinampDesktop/winamp/issues/17
- (Expired) digital certificate used to sign Windows executables, and the password to it, which for all we know might have seen reuse within the company: https://github.com/WinampDesktop/winamp/issues/22

- (Pictured above) one poor WinAmp dev absolutely thrashing the activity list trying to deal with the fallout from this all: https://github.com/WinampDesktop/winamp/activity
