π Reaper 7 is great, in a few years it will be one of the most unique and most optimized DAW you'll ever touch, especially for the recording and pre-pro processes.
R7 has introduced FX containers, and it's going to be a killer feature like FL Studio Patcher.
Btw, I'm stuck on 6.80 as my primary version. I have protocols and rules for handling programs, especially when it comes to .0 versions.

Envelope-based Compressor + Vocal Rider = Pure Sound with 0 artefacts and problems, natural vocal-presence and excitement.
This day gonna be historical, literally.
Around a few months ago, another idea occupied my mind.. I needed Version Control Service for my music projects. It means in the end of day or session I want to upload another version of the same file but keep previous one in safe.
How many candidates do we have? Git, Github, Gitlab. I use all of them daily and have zero trust, tbh. Who wants to store their vocals, harmonies etc. on hdd somewhere on opposite side of Earth?
And I found Apache Subversion. Then I found VisualSVN and TortoiseSVN.
So, right now I got Subversion (literally local Github), located on my home-server-machine, with commit and push options.
Maybe later I'll make full guide on forum. But right now I'll just back up my shit.
