Private Wi-Fi Address (rotating MAC) on Apple Silicon
On Apple Silicon Macs running macOS Sonoma 14 or later, where Wi-Fi MAC spoofing is blocked at the driver level, the app now automatically:
- Checks whether your Wi-Fi network has "Private Wi-Fi Address" set to rotating
- Enables rotating mode if it isn't already
- Cycles Wi-Fi off then on to generate a new rotating MAC address
- The interface is always brought back up, even if the cycle step encounters an error

Step-by-step progress tracking
The app now shows each step of the fix process in real time — Close Zoom, MAC Spoof & Network, Backup State, Clear Local State, DNS Flush, Stop Updaters, and Launch Zoom — each with a running/success/failed indicator. You can see exactly where things stand (or went wrong) without reading the log.

If all methods stop working on your Mac, you can run the following command in the Terminal app. There is no guarantee this will work, but it might help you bypass error 1132.

⚠️ About MAC spoofing on macOS

For many years, one of the common methods used to bypass Zoom Error 1132 on macOS was MAC address spoofing. Unfortunately, this method is no longer reliable on newer versions of macOS.

Apple has significantly tightened system security and networking controls in recent releases, making it much harder to change or permanently spoof hardware identifiers in a way that Zoom accepts. As a result, many older guides and tools that previously worked are now ineffective.

This means that bypassing Error 1132 on modern macOS versions has become considerably more difficult than it was in the past.

If you come across websites, videos, or people claiming that simple MAC spoofing will fix 1132 on the latest macOS versions, be aware that this information is often outdated.

Always be cautious of anyone charging money for “guaranteed” 1132 fixes based solely on MAC address changes, as these methods frequently no longer work on current systems.
