TCEPro — ECU map editor for Windows

TCEPro finds maps in the firmware file and displays them as a table and graph in real units: degrees, rpm, milligrams. Edits come with full undo history, comparison of two firmwares with transfer of changes, projects, and export to a new file: the original is not overwritten.

Maps are not built into the program — they are provided by catalogs. You open a firmware (.bin, .rom, .mod), and TCEPro automatically recognizes the block and connects the required catalog.

⇄ TCE Pro: firmware comparison mode

In this video, the editor in firmware comparison mode.

What you'll see:
• open the first file by drag and drop, load the second with the Compare button (⇄)
• all changed maps gathered in a single tree
• three view modes: Δ delta (Ctrl+1), % deviation (Ctrl+2) and Original / 1 / 2 (Ctrl+3)
• differences in the 2D table (changed cells highlighted) and on the 3D chart, against a gray original surface
• select any range of cells and paste values from the compared file (right-click → Copy Selection to Reference)
• right-click a map: Copy Map for one map, Copy All Maps for all changed maps at once

How to update
TCEPro offers the update on the next start (or Help → Check for updates…). Click "Open Your Account to Download" and run the new installer — projects and downloaded catalogs stay as they are.

Catalogs
• A new catalog, or a newer version of one you already have, can arrive while you are working. You do not have to sign in again.
• In Settings, on the General page, under Catalogs, Download and update catalogues automatically is on by default. The program then downloads the catalog and connects it, and tells you that it was updated or that a new catalog was loaded.
• If you are already using that catalog, the new version is downloaded and set aside. The program asks you to restart before it switches over. The firmware file you have open stays as it is.
• When that switch is off, nothing is downloaded, including right after you sign in. The program tells you once that a new catalog or an update is waiting in the catalog manager.
• If you remove a local copy of a catalog, an update that was waiting for a restart is removed with it.
Catalog updates download automatically after sign-in.

• If a catalog was updated while you were signed out, signing in downloads that catalog again and opens it. Before, it stayed closed until you deleted the old copy and downloaded it yourself.
• A damaged copy on this computer is replaced the same way.
• An updated catalog opens without restarting the program.
• Closing the catalog manager no longer freezes the main window.

Мы гордимся тем, что теперь трехмерные диаграммы автоматически адаптируются под растянутые форматы, обеспечивая полный охват ключевых метрик. Это не просто изменение лимитов, это новый стандарт в области аналитики!

В сфере управления каталогами мы реализовали принцип «бесшовного опыта». Если каталог был обновлен во время вашего отсутствия, система автоматически синхронизируется и открывает актуальную версию при следующем входе. Мы полностью устранили необходимость ручного удаления старых копий — теперь все происходит в автоматическом режиме. Более того, мы оптимизировали процесс открытия обновленных каталогов: больше не требуется перезапуск программы. Мы также решили проблему зависания главного окна при закрытии менеджера каталогов, что значительно повышает нашу операционную эффективность.

В области поддержки прошивок мы внедрили интеллектуальный механизм обработки ошибок. При отсутствии блока в каталоге система теперь автоматически извлекает необходимые данные из вашего файла и формирует запрос на поддержку прямо на странице вашего аккаунта. Этот процесс работает автономно, без необходимости подключения к интернету, что демонстрирует нашу приверженность надежности и доступности.

Мы также усилили нашу систему аутентификации. Теперь после входа в систему браузер открывает информативную страницу с подтверждением статуса. В случае возникновения трудностей с доступом, система прозрачно объясняет причину, что позволяет нам оперативно решать вопросы и обеспечивает полный контроль над процессом.

В сфере совместимости с оборудованием Bosch MD1 мы достигли прорыва: ранее нераспознанные семейства файлов теперь успешно идентифицируются, включая файлы дилерской прошивки и память с данными о номере автомобиля и запчастях. Мы улучшили механизм проверки контрольных сумм: теперь они могут быть проверены и обновлены при сохранении, что ранее было невозможно. Для файлов Delphi MT92 мы внедрили алгоритм проверки контрольных сумм калибровки, идентичный тому, который использует блок управления при запуске, что гарантирует высочайший уровень точности.

И, наконец, мы уделяем внимание деталям в глобальной локализации. В испаноязычном интерфейсе мы скорректировали терминологию: слово, обозначающее «Закрыть», теперь используется корректно во всех контекстах, что подчеркивает нашу приверженность качеству пользовательского опыта на всех рынках.
