The first Economic Survey was presented in 1950-51. Until 1964, the document would be presented along with the Budget.

Narcotics Control Bureau:
@ Constituted in 1986 under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
@ It is the apex coordinating agency under the Ministry of Home Affairs.
@ The National Policy on Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances is based on Article 47 of the Indian Constitution - prohibition of the consumption, except for medicinal purposes, of intoxicating drugs injurious to health.
@ Drug abuse control is the responsibility of the central government.
# Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985
1) It provides for the penalty - illegal traffic in narcotic drugs.
2) The Act -provision for constituting a Central Authority for the purpose of exercising the powers and functions of the Central Government under the Act.

What is an Accommodative Monetary Policy
Accommodative monetary policy occurs when a central bank attempts to expand the overall money supply to boost the economy when growth is slowing (as measured by GDP).

The policy is implemented to allow the money supply to rise in line with national income and the demand for money
