- 24% rise in cyber Crime according to NCRB.

➕Types of Cybercrime:

- Phishing: Fraudulent attempts to obtain sensitive information by disguising as a trustworthy entity.
- Ransomware: Malicious software that threatens to publish the victim's data or block access to it unless a ransom is paid.
- Data Breach: The intentional or unintentional release of secure or private/confidential information to an untrusted environment.
- Identity Theft: Unauthorised use of someone's personal information, typically for financial gain.
- Malware: Software designed to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorised access to computer systems.
- Denial-of-Service (DoS) Attacks: Overwhelming a network or website with traffic to render it unusable.
- Cyberstalking: Using the internet to harass or stalk an individual or group.
