3. Emphasis on productivity of livestock
4. Investment on renewable energy generation on fallow farmland
5. A farm business organisation to route private investment to agriculture
6. Maintaining farm level database for real time assessment.
7. Nudge policies for resource conservation and optimal use of fertilisers, irrigation and electricity consumption.

How does a city solve its hunger and plastic waste problem at the same time?
Ambikapur is a city with a population of just under two lakhs, located in Chattisgarh’s Surguja district. In an attempt to find a solution to the twin problems mentioned above, its municipal officials have launched a unique garbage café scheme.
At this café, ragpickers and the homeless will collect plastic waste, and in return, the municipal corporation will offer them food.
Also Ambikapur is ranked second cleanest city in Swacch Sarvekshan 2019 after the Indore.

•19th summit has been postponed,,however, only 18 summits in more than three decades of
existence shows SAARC has been unable to meet regularly.
•SAARC has failed to evolve a common strategic outlook to deal with challenges such as terrorism or climate change.

Operation Thirst
The ‘Railway Protection Force’(RPF), Ministry of Railways launched “Operation Thirst”.
It is an all India Drive to crack down selling of unauthorised Packaged Drinking Water.
Almost all major stations over Indian Railway were covered during this operation.
The bottles of unauthorised Packaged Drinking Water (PDW) have been seized under section 144 and section 153 of Indian Railway Act.
