Integrated Management of Public Distribution System (IM-PDS) is a new Central Sector scheme.
It is launched by Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution.
The key objectives of the scheme are,
to integrate the existing PDS systems(portals) of States/UTs with the Central System(portals).
Introduction of National Portability of ration card to lift foodgrains from any Fair Price Shop (FPS) across the country.
National level de-duplication of ration cards/beneficiary.
It will bring more transparency and efficiency in PDS as it will improve the mechanism to identify fake/duplicate ration cards.
With this government is all set to implement "One nation-One ration card" scheme throughout India by 2020.

Ambikapur is a city with a population of just under two lakhs, located in Chattisgarh’s Surguja district. In an attempt to find a solution to the twin problems mentioned above, its municipal officials have launched a unique garbage café scheme.
At this café, ragpickers and the homeless will collect plastic waste, and in return, the municipal corporation will offer them food.
Also Ambikapur is ranked second cleanest city in Swacch Sarvekshan 2019 after the Indore.

• Intra-regional trade is around 5% of South Asia’s total trade. Comparitively the figure for East Asia (ASEAN) is 35% and Europe (EU) is 60%.
•19th summit has been postponed,,however, only 18 summits in more than three decades of
existence shows SAARC has been unable to meet regularly.
•SAARC has failed to evolve a common strategic outlook to deal with challenges such as terrorism or climate change.
