Taranau is next Saturday! Introducing the first of our artists: olesia

Co-founder of London’s FLINTA* label, event and mix series Technomate, London-based artist olesia single-handedly brings powerhouse energy and initiative to all endeavours under their name.

An advocate for diversity and queer representation across all aspects of their creative work and day-to-day life, olesia rejects rigid ideas around gender, sexuality and archaic notions within the music industry. As a DJ, olesia explores the different realms of electronic music, seamlessly mixing a diverse range of styles, combining high-tempo, trance-inspired melodies with powerful kickdrums and trippy soundscapes, all brought together with vibrant energy.

Taranau is TONIGHT! Introducing our next artist: Berfu!

A classically trained oboist and Berlin-based DJ, she crafts hypnotic, groove-heavy sets rooted in 90s vocal techno, acid, and Detroit-inspired sounds. With a presence across some of Europe’s most forward-thinking dance floors, her sets move through genres with instinct, surprise, and precision.

As any seasoned Taranau Saunermeister*in knows, we have a tradition where for the last set of the event we close the entrance and have a bright silly fun lock-in for the 2 hours before we have to return to reality. This weekend we’ve prepared one of our brightest, silliest and most fun closers yet: Triqi!

Raised and based in Berlin, Triqi first kicked off her DJ career in Amsterdam’s vibrant local scene. She found her creative home with collectives like Paradisco, BLVSH, THF Radio and the Berlin branch of the South Asian collective Daytimers. Her soundscape is a tapestry of deep, groovy house, interwoven with threads of garage, disco, breaks, bass or electro, crafting a rhythmic sound that is both soulful and playful.

Hey everyone! Unfortunately we’ve had a flooding issue, we had to close the event at 3am for everyone‘s safety. We are so sorry about this, it’s out of our control and we worked with the club to find a solution, but unfortunately we had no other choice 😢

Taranau is this weekend! For our next artist, the fantastic @amphia__ has recently moved from London to Berlin and we’re so excited to announce that she will be playing this Saturday!

Amphia (she/they) is a multidisciplinary artist and DJ based in Berlin. Their sets weave hypnotic techno, percussive rhythms, and immersive sound design into deeply textured journeys. They’ve performed at renowned venues across Europe and the UK and are a resident at M.A.S. Limited. Beyond DJing, their practice is rooted in experimentation and identity, crafting powerful, emotionally resonant sonic experiences.

Only two sleeps 'til Taranau! Starting our final event of 2025 with a bang, it’s a fresh face on the Berlin scene: JUNA (@maracujuna)!

JUNA, Cuban-American genre chameleon born in Berlin and raised internationally, brings Latin heat and global chaos to the dance floor. Her bass-soaked, groove-heavy sound fuses Reggaetón, Funk, and Hard Groove with a wink of Y2K mischief and a Berlin bite. JUNA turns every set into a sweaty, high-voltage club fantasy.

Taranau starts in 1 hour! Here’s some info you might want to know:

- The entry is 15€ and the venue is cash only
- The venue’s garderobe is small and slow, please don’t bring a big backpack or anything valuable, and maybe come in a smaller coat or hoodie instead of something huge if you can
- If the venue is full we will have a 1 hour pause on new people coming in. There are a lot of bars in the area, if we close the entry just come back in an hour and we’ll probably have space again
- Final entry is 5am, after that it’s a lock-in 😈
