We offer a post of Press and Information Assistant. Upon recruitment, the successful candidate will occupy a specific job function as Press and Information Assistant integrated within the Press and Information Section of the EU Delegation in Moscow. This job function may be changed in accordance with the needs of the Delegation. Under this job function the successful candidate will serve as technical and support staff under the supervision and responsibility of the relevant Head of Section:

Organisation of the EU Study Weeks project;
Follow-up of the network of EU Information Centres (EU-i);
Assistance in defining EU-related youth projects in the field of education, academia and public diplomacy;
Communication and public diplomacy work related to Erasmus + programme;
Maintenance of the Delegation Documentation Centre;
Liaison with EU and Russian academia;
Assistance in speechwriting and presentation for P+I and other sections;
Assistance at media and blogosphere monitoring and reporting.
N.B. the present list is indicative, not exhaustive.
Job location: Moscow

Working hours: 09:00 – 17:30 (working hours can be flexible within limitations)

Compensation package is in line with the organisation's employment policy and identified individually based on previous experience.

Selection Criteria

For a candidate who would meet the following requirements:
Medically fit to perform the required duties
University degree in Public administration / Education / Journalism is an asset
Fluency in English and in Russian (written and spoken). The knowledge of any other European languages would be considered as an asset
Minimum 5 years of working experience relevant to the job on offer, preferably in international organizations or embassies
Knowledge of public diplomacy, educational and academia spheres, EU structure and projects
