MAFG Group is looking for an experienced and highly qualified Quality Director to lead the Quality and Food Safety function across our food manufacturing operations.
Manufacturing Activities:
Bakery & Pastry
Processed Meat & Poultry
Dairy & Cheese Products
Location: 3rd Settlement, Cairo, Egypt
Key Requirements:
* Egyptian nationality.
* Minimum 20 years of relevant experience in Quality Management within the food manufacturing industry.
* Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Agriculture, Engineering, or a relevant field.
* Master’s degree or equivalent postgraduate qualification in the same field.
* Proven experience in leading Quality and Food Safety functions within large-scale food manufacturing facilities.
* Strong experience in developing, implementing, and continuously improving Quality Management Systems and Food Safety Management Systems.
* Proven track record in preparing companies and facilities for obtaining ISO, Wait List, and other relevant international certifications and accreditations.
* Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, Food Safety, Traceability, Risk Assessment, Internal Audits, CAPA, and Quality Management Systems.
* Extensive experience dealing with certification bodies, external auditors, regulatory authorities, and relevant stakeholders.
* Ability to establish and implement quality policies, procedures, SOPs, KPIs, and continuous improvement programs.
* Strong leadership, strategic planning, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the overall Quality and Food Safety function.
* Develop and implement the company’s Quality and Food Safety strategy.
* Establish and maintain robust Quality Management and Food Safety Management Systems.
* Lead the preparation and implementation of requirements for ISO, White List, and other relevant certifications and accreditations.
* Drive the successful completion of certification and accreditation processes.
* Ensure successful completion of external audits and certification processes.
* Develop and continuously improve quality standards across all manufacturing activities.
* Lead, develop, and evaluate the Quality and Food Safety teams.
* Ensure compliance with applicable food safety regulations, standards, and customer requirements.
* Drive a strong culture of quality, food safety, compliance, and continuous improvement across the organization.
