Perk of living close to the kitchens—my friends and I managed to bribe the house-elves into letting us cook pancakes. They don’t look perfect, but trust me, they’re delicious. And don’t worry, we shared with the elves too.

This morning I transformed to search for Silverdew Thistle for Potions class later today. The grass was still wet with dew, and the morning sunlight made it easier to blend in—never a moment I’m not grateful for this form.

Once again garfield brought up some awkward small talk about foxes… Does he know about my animagus form? Honestly, he could just say it if he does. I wouldn’t be mad.

My potion turned out well in class today—thank god I went searching for the ingredients myself. Otherwise I’d have to use the storage stock that looks like it’s been sitting there for a month, and the result definitely wouldn’t be as good as with my fresh harvest.

Bumped into the Dovetail Siblings in the Great Hall today. I greeted them both and wow, they’re equally awkward in a different way. Definitely siblings through and through.

I nearly got hit by a Rictusempra spell in Charms today. Good thing I flicked my robes just in time, or else I might’ve ended up tickled half to death on my way to St. Mungo’s.

This afternoon I was asked to help Professor Longbottom with his extra herbology class. I always forget how exhausting teaching first years can be—but of course, in the best way. Really enjoyed it.

After quidditch practice, I wandered around to look for new herb spots I haven’t visited yet. That’s when I stumbled upon Rosewood perched alone on the Hogwarts rooftop. I almost went to say hi, but accidentally overheard him in the middle of his monologue. Guess I won’t interrupt now, but I might save this for a little tease later.
