This morning users reported a problem downloading podcast episodes from the SurrealPolitiks website and RSS feeds.

This problem has been resolved.

We had this happen once before, in which a conflict emerged with our podcast stats software, seemingly due to a software update to another plugin.

Such things are not uncommon in WordPress, which is the software our network runs on.

We apologize for the inconvenience, and will be sure to make haste to resolve all issues should they reappear in the future.

We received notice from several users that they were getting an error when attempting to view member content or account functions.

This appears to be due to a problem with a software update. We are in contact with the software developers to seek a resolution.

Until then, all member content is freely available even if the user is not logged in and does not have a subscription.

I am currently troubleshooting the redirect loop some users reported accessing member content on the SurrealPolitiks main site.

Earlier I sent out an email stating that we had removed restrictions on member content so users could access it until the problem was fixed. During this troubleshooting process, member content is unavailable and the redirect loop is happening while we try to identify and resolve the problem.

The issues announced earlier with our member content functions are still being worked on, but the member content is available to members and once again restricted from non-members.

When logging in, you may be directed to a "Membership Account" page.

To view member content, you must then navigate back to the "Member Content" page and now that you are logged in, the content you wish to view will be visible.

Please do not attempt to change features about your account from the "Membership Account" page. The subscriptions are handled on the "My Account" page, linked in the top menu of the website.

A more detailed description is contained in this post. We are waiting on a more perfect solution from the software developers and will remain attentive to this issue until everything works as expected.
