Situation on Pokrovsk front: During the last four days Russian Army made new advances north of Nadiivka in the direction of Novooleksandrivka. In addition, Russian forces made small advances northeast of Troitske.

The Russian army's operation to recapture Kursk is coming to an end, with fighting in the last houses and wooded areas near the border.
There is talk of a possible future operation towards Sumy that could be exploited by Russia following the weakening of the Ukrainian army on this front. However, the Russian command's priority is still on the eastern front, that is, the seizure of the Donbas, where the bulk of the fighting is taking place.

What we can expect from Sumy is the creation of a buffer zone on the border of a dimension not so different from the area north of Kharkov with the aim of avoiding a new operation in Kursk and further damaging the Ukrainian command in its management and sending of resources to other fronts. This dynamic has already begun in February and has allowed Russian forces to seize some localities. It is possible that the advance will continue a few kilometres further inland, reaching two important points or zones: the first is the Psel River, a natural barrier that would allow them to secure attacks from the south and force Ukraine to send reinforcements that could be used to penetrate Belgorod. The second is the town of Yunakivka, the main urban area in the region, the capture of which would provide a logistical node from which to expand control southwards as a future possibility. However, it is possible that this locality could become a new Vovchansk, ending in a long positional battle.

Situation on Kursk front: During the last two days Russian Army recaptured most of the locality of Gornal & a series of positions north of it along the border with Ukraine, where the last combats against Ukrainian Army are taking place in the oblast of Kursk.

Situation on Belgorod front: During the last days Russian Army managed to recapture the locality of Popovka and expelled Ukrainian Army towards the forest area at the border.

Ukrainian-Russian war. Day 1158:
Situation on Toretsk front: During the last two weeks Russian forces have made important advances west of the water channel between Druzhba and Ozarianivka taking control of several trenches in this area along the Balmutka river. During this last week the Russian forces managed to increase their control along the road between Dachne and Druzhba from where the Ukrainian army managed to infiltrate into the second locality.

Ukrainian-Russian war. Day 1158:
Situation on Grodovskaya & Ilyinovskaya fronts: During the last four days Russian Army reached the first houses of Stara Mykolaivka & are trying to entrench in the locality. In addition, during the last three days Russian forces made new advances north of Zelene Pole & northeast of Vodyane Druhe. Meanwhile, the situation at Tarasivka was clarified: the northern houses of the locality remain under the control of Ukrainian Army while clashes with Russian troops are taking place at the northern warehouses.

Sudan Civil War: [26/4/2025]: 🇸🇩
Situation on Khartoum front: In the last four days the SAF managed to advance in Abu Seid district in Omdurman taking control of blocks 19, 21, 25 and 60 in addition to Bank Al Aqariu block. On the other hand, the RSF regained some positions in Saliha after the withdrawal of the armed forces to the outskirts of the Islamic University.

Currently the strategy of the Russian armed forces is to advance on the northern and southern flanks of Toretsk in order to gain fire control over the Ukrainian army's supply routes to the city. In case of success the Ukrainian reinforcement capacity will be diminished and this will definitely tip the balance to the Russian side.
