In the north of Aleppo, however, there is a significant withdrawal of Syrian armed forces and the exodus of many civilians to the south. The capture of Kuweires base and Aleppo airport by SNA and HTS respectively has left only one escape route to Al-Safira and later Ithriya. Some government troops remain alongside the SDF defending the Tell Rifaat area and the 70% rebel-held city of Aleppo.

It was not possible to consolidate the defense lines in Qomhana. Hama is likely to fall in the next few hours and with it the road to Homs will be opened for terrorism.

I am not going to say the cursed phrase that others have repeated. Just to say that those who think that with the change of the Syrian president the war will end are the same ones who innocently believe that the Ukrainian war would end with the fall of Putin.

While civilian flight is taking place in Hama new SAA reinforcements have just arrived in the city. It is possible that government forces are going to put up resistance on this front for the first time since the collapse, the question is whether it will be possible to defend the city, which is complicated. Some locations to the north have not yet been taken by the terrorist rebels, so the possibility that the line can be consolidated remains up in the air. Tomorrow will be an interesting day.

Syrian Civil War [30/11/2024]: 🇸🇾
Situation on Aleppo: Situation in northern Syria.
After the general withdrawal of the SAA the SDF and YPG entered several areas under government control jointly occupying the neighborhoods of eastern Aleppo, Kuweires airbase, Maskanah, Dayr Hafir and Sheikh Najjar Industrial District. However, this has not stopped the rebel coalition's advances:

- HTS took control of Anadan plain from the north and Aleppo airport and Nayrab military base from the south. Moreover, to avoid an increase in tensions the YPG, under full control of the Tall Rifaat area allowed the terrorist forces to occupy the symbolic Nubl and Zahraa, which had been previously evacuated.
- From the north the SNA announced the beginning of a new operation “Dawn of Freedom” and advanced from various axes occupying the localities that the SAA had evacuated such as: Nabatah Saghira, Tafriah al-Kabirah, Qasr al-Bureij, Al-Naamaat, Bayraqtar, Fikha al-Saghira, Tadef, Abu Taltal, Shamawiyah, Deir Qaq, Sheikh Dan, Ayn al-Jahsh, Sarjah Kabira, Sarjah Shagira, Souran, Shamer, Al Ta'anah. In addition, the rebels seized the important base of Kuweires and the town of Dayr Hafir by cutting the Aleppo-Raqqa road, this move together with the approaching Sheikh Najjar puts in serious danger the joint SDF/SAA forces in Aleppo city and the surrounding areas, facing an effective encirclement in the future.

The withdrawal of government troops has forced the abandonment of other strategic positions in the center of the country, such as the Taqba airbase, used since the fall of 2019 through an agreement with the SDF. Troops from there were redeployed to eastern Aleppo (Maskanah and Ithriya) in conjunction with reinforcements coming from operations in the desert towards other areas.

SAA began counterattacks in Hama & recaptured some ground. 🇸🇾

Situation on northeastern front: Seven days ago Russian Army began an operation to cross the Oskil River and settled on the outskirts of Novomlynsk, which is partially under Russian control. In the last 48 hours Russian forces managed to create another bridgehead six kilometers to the south by seizing a number of positions south of Dvorichna.
