In Jazirah province, the SAF launched a limited offensive aimed at taking the provincial capital, Wad Madani, which was repelled by the RSF, which focused on neighbouring Sennar. In the last days of June their troops launched an offensive taking Jebel Moya and moving further south where they took control of the provincial capital, Singa, and crossed the Nile River to Suki and Dinder. The successful encircling movement left the city of Sennar in a compromising position. Meanwhile the SAF build up reinforcements at Jabal Dud and Moya to reopen supplies to the city.🇸🇩

At the end of May the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) launched a major operation in the desert against ISIS terrorists in which allied militias and tribal groups also participated. In addition, it is worth mentioning the Russian and Iranian support with the use of drones and aircraft to destroy the hideouts militants in that large area. For the moment, the successes have been minor, as this is a long-term operation due to its complexity. In the meantime, the Syrian army continues to rebuild itself with the creation of the new Special Forces Corps (SOF) under the command of Suhail Hassan, which is drawing on former members of the 25th division. On the other hand, tension has risen considerably in the north of the country as Ahrar Sharqiya militants and demonstrators began to tear down Turkish flags, tear them up and burn them. The RSF continued its advance after the SAF withdrew from much of Sennar Governorate. The rebels reached the town of Mazmūm, very close to the border with South Sudan. The situation for government forces is becoming increasingly difficult as the capture of supply lines from White Nile would lead to the loss of positions in the south as far as Blue Nile province.

Situation east of Chasov Yar: Recent video footage shows Russian Army hoisting a flag in one of the last high buidings of Kanal microdistrict (48.58983619917902, 37.87468622986272). The battle for this area is close to end.
