The Hawaii Republican Party’s National Committeewoman, Laura Nakanelua, fought dirty to prevent @surfing4truth from attending the 2024 Republican National Convention, after we won tickets in an auction by the Party. She was mad that we called her a RINO (for good reasons) in the past, instigating a full blown attack on us that accused us of behavior “unbecoming of a trump supporter” and claiming we could embarrass Donald Trump. Meanwhile, we were running the biggest rallies for Trump 2024 in all of the islands. Laura went so far as to ignore a cease and desist order issued by the Party’s attorney. In the end, while she had no qualms about abusing the power of her position and putting the party in risk of liability (as we could have sued for not getting the tickets under a contractually binding auction sale), she had no authority to block us from attending.

This video is the opening statement of our complaint hearing against Laura Nakanelua, outlining her malfeasance and unethical behavior we endured over several weeks. The final trial will be held on Wednesday. We can only hope that we now have enough people with integrity in the Party who will vote to hold her accountable for her actions. We will share the outcome and will note who votes to condone this type of disregard for rules and laws.

Any registered Hawaii voters out there who are shocked or surprised, this is why we keep bringing up the Republican Party. It needs fixing and bad actors need to be removed. Please consider becoming a Party member to help grow and move us in the right direction, to one day soon be able to beat and outnumber the Democrats in Hawaii.

Here are recommendations for all the delegates at the Hawaii Republican Party state convention on May 24, 2025, when rule amendments to the bylaws get reviewed and voted on. Andy, who is the Honolulu County Rules chair, and who has been part of the rules committee where the amendments get worked on before being proposed at the convention (for months by hardworking volunteers), did a presentation with all his reasoning. Please reach out if you would like access to the recording.
And be wary of those suggesting to vote “No” on all rules amendments They did not participate in the rules committee where they could have contributed, and have been blocking all rules changes for YEARS, preventing the Party from operating more effectively. They want to keep the status  quo that works in their favor.

2025 HRP State Convention Update

🔥🔥🔥🥳 ❤️‍🩹 HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. : “Today, the COVID vaccine for healthy children and healthy pregnant women has been removed from @CDCgov recommended immunization schedule. Bottom line: it’s common sense and it’s good science. We are now one step closer to realizing @POTUS’s promise to Make America Healthy Again.”

Fix the party, boost the Republican voter turnout, and work on election integrity and getting true MAGA Republicans trained and running for every open seat in 2026, and we will have no issues. But somehow that seems very unlikely given how little he currently knows about Party business and history (after having had a conversation with him), how dirty his campaign was, and the old guard obstructionists he surrounds himself with (see our previous video). #SleepyArt

Shoutout to this fine Hawaiian patriot, Josh, who has been unapologetically showing up to support Donald J Trump in Hawaii for many years. Mahalo Josh for always standing by our POTUS, fighting for our freedoms, doing your civic duty in the legislature, spreading Trump merch across the islands, your kindness and generosity, and bringing smiles and laughter.

We spent essentially the whole lunch break on Saturday at the Hawaii Republican Party State Convention speaking to Art (before his election as the new State Chair). He made it seem like he was listening and cared about the grassroots members of the Party and the heavy lifting work we do. He’s very good at that. The rest of the convention proved that it was all BS.

We will never forget what Josh Green did to the people of Hawaii and he must be held accountable.

Last week, the Governor of Hawaii, Josh Green, lied under oath to Congress about his response to COVID-19 as Lieutenant Governor at the time. Will the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations hold him in contempt of Congress or will the Department of Justice charge him with perjury? Is this the beginning of the end for Josh Green? A reminder of what a threat BJ Penn was to the establishment with his run for Governor of Hawaii in 2022!!!

We remember telling BJ when we first met him… “Thank you!! You know they will come after you and your family...”

We don’t know specifically what has happened since then, but it was clear that the Hawaii political establishment knew they needed to stop BJ Penn and the movement he created. And it appears to us that they found a way.

BJ, we will always remember and be grateful for what you did to help wake up and fight for the people in Hawaii. We wish you and your ohana peace and happiness. And we wish we knew how to help.

Ralph Cushnie exposed 2024 election flaws in Hawaii at the 2025 Hawaii Republican Party State Convention. He reported 3,700 unaccounted ballots on Kauai, 19,040 on Big Island, with Maui and Oahu lacking records. Ballots were added electronically without verification; observers couldn't count transfers. Scales were uncalibrated. Cushnie faced obstruction, including police removal, for seeking chain of custody data. Audits illegally used ballot images in 2022. Courts dismissed his lawsuits. Scott Nago issued an election certificate during a challenge, and the Chief Justice swore in officials before recusing, raising election integrity concerns.
