✍Social gatherings for the wise people are for one of two concerns:
The person categorized by intelligence should not flatter someone unless a person can bear flattery and should not be attentive to someone unless they like his attention.

Allah has created us to be from those who have within us the beauti-ful presence of intelligence, so by way of perfecting this blessing, he displays the characteristics that will lead to his Lord. Indeed, he obeys Allah and does what He wills.👍

WHATEVER EVIL BEFALLS YOU, IS FROM YOURSELF

The good things that brings happiness, with which a slave may be tested, come from the obedience that the slave performs, and the evil thing that bring dislike and despair, with which a slave may also be tested, come from disobedience performed by the slave, as Allāh the Most High, said:

{ مَّآ أَصَابَكَ مِنْ حَسَنَةٍ فَمِنَ ٱللَّهِ وَمَآ أَصَابَكَ مِن سَيِّئَةٍ فَمِن نَّفْسِكَ وَأَرْسَلْنَٰكَ لِلنَّاسِ رَسُولًا وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ شَهِيدًا }

Whatever of good reaches you, is from Allāh, but whatever of evil befalls you, is from yourself. And We have sent you (O Muhammad ﷺ) as a Messenger to mankind, and Allāh is sufficient as a witness.*

Likewise, it is obligatory upon the woman that she strives to accept a proposal from a man who is good in his Religion, and fine and pleasant in his character – and she should not accept a proposal for marriage from one who is not good in his religion or his character even if he happens to be a relative.
