This is a Virtual/Digital Library initiative started by senior UPSC aspirants during the challenging pandemic times.

The idea is to have a 24*7 virtual space where you can freely hold your sittings with fellow ONLY UPSC aspirants.

There are NO group discussions, open mic discussions or targets considering that every candidate is at a different stage of preparation, and have a different pace.
When there is a lot of Noise around, this space is a silent space where what you will see is just the flames of aspirations.

It's a free-of-cost initiative however the only thing we expect out of you all are higher values of accountability, integrity and rule-abiding spirit.
Hence, there is strictly NO compromise on the regulations, NO exceptions - be WHATEVER.

Adhere to the following regulations for new members, as they are essential for your participation in the meeting:

1. Camera ON is mandatory - Keeping your camera on and "'staying visible with your face is mandatory"" during the meeting.

2. Breaks - For a short break (max 10 min) mention estimated time in the chat, then return on time. For longer breaks, exit the Meet and rejoin later.
3. Enter with your cam on and mic off - Not to randomly check and then sit there with a cam off.
4. Join with your real name – no nicknames, no fake IDs.
5. No background blur or effects - As you move while studying it keeps getting readjusted and disturbs the whole screen setup.
6. Mic OFF before entering – safeguard your privacy and avoid noise.
7. Respect the screen space – avoid walking around while studying or creating disturbances. Remember, you are visible to everyone.
8. Usage of the chat box - only to mention break times or to report rule breaches, nothing else.

These regulations are created to ensure maximum productivity and transparency. Failing them, the HOST is to remove the participant from the meet.

Additional Notes:

• If you’re joining from a phone – keep auto-rotation ON for proper alignment.
• Enter with camera ON directly – not to check in and then sit cam-off.
• Repeated violation = removal from the session and permanent list.
• Hosts are also preparing – hence no clarifications on rules will be entertained. The rules are self-explanatory.

📌 How to Join the Virtual Library:

All aspirants must carefully read the rules and regulations above before requesting to join.

To join, send the following information to the admin along with your answers to the joining questions (in one word/short answers only):

5. Identity proof – e.g., UPSC CSE admit card, State PCS admit card, or any other valid ID if you don’t have the above.

This initiative is free of cost. It is based on values, transparency and regulations. Do not pay anything to anyone in the name of this platform

Once you have sent the text along with the required details, please wait for up to 24 hours or until the next morning. As confirmation of your approval to join the library, we will send you a Google Meet link.
