In this article I read about near-death experiences (NDEs). Ernest Hemingway during World War I when he was badly injured, and later used that experience in his story The Snows of Kilimanjaro. Near-death experiences happen when someone's body is in danger. People feel like they have died, but they are still alive.Their heart may be beating and their brain still working. They feel a range of things. Scientists have studied this phenomenon a lot over time, like Raymond Moody who gave the name 'near-death experience', and others who have looked at how these experiences work and what causes them.
