New U.S. Visa Design🇺🇸
Starting in 2025, U.S. consular offices will issue visas with an updated design, replacing the previous version featuring the Capitol and a portrait of Abraham Lincoln.
Key changes in the new visa design:
1. Background: The old visa displayed a portrait of President Abraham Lincoln and the U.S. Capitol building. The new design features the iconic Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco.🌉
2. Color Scheme: The previous version had bright and bold colors, primarily blue, light blue, and red. The updated visa features softer shades, with white, pink, and light blue dominating the design.
3. Font: Several text elements now use a different font, including the visa number, the heading “United States of America,” and the word “VISA” in the top-left corner, where an image of the U.S. map has also been added.
🫧 The changes apply to all types of visas, including student, business, and tourist visas. However, previously issued visas remain valid, and some U.S. consulates may continue issuing the older design for a period of time.
