Each war regardless and they normally last for four years (it has been calculated by the military tactics experts why the war normally lasts for four years: the economy can withstand the pressure, the population can, the number of casualties can) after that they have to sit at the table and negotiate with ten, twenty or like in the first and second world wars with 50 million deaths at hand. Generally we are not in a good place in the whole world.

The polarization of the world is ongoing and we are witnessing it but it is not abundantly clear whether we shall experience a definite division but we also can see the fact that the new blocs and the new spheres of interest are in the making. The world will never be the way it used to be. The world will split.

Russia and China will go in one direction together for sure. The EU, or at least what the names are of those countries there, will take the other direction, provided that they do not disintegrate by themselves because of the protests and strikes and serious turmoil they have on their own personal national levels.

The USA will get isolated at some point because nobody will listen to the U.S. any more as is already the case, and another powerful bloc will emerge: so called the Third World countries🌞 – because of the economy and their huge populations.”

🪆🐉 We cannot even begin to fathom the non-stop ripple effects deriving from the 2023 geopolitical earthquake that shook the world: Putin and Xi, in Moscow, de facto signaling the beginning of the end of Pax Americana 🪦

This has been the ultimate anathema for rarified Anglo-American hegemonic elites for over a century: a signed, sealed, comprehensive strategic partnership of two peer competitors, intertwining a massive manufacturing base and pre-eminence in supply of natural resources – with value-added Russian state of the art weaponry and diplomatic nous.

From the point of view of these elites, whose Plan A was always a debased version of the Roman Empire’s Divide and Rule, this was never supposed to happen. In fact, blinded by hubris, they never saw it coming. Historically, this does not even qualify as a remix of the Tournament of Shadows; it’s more like Tawdry Empire Left in the Shade, “foaming at the mouth” (copyright Maria Zakharova).
Xi and Putin, with one Sun Tzu move, immobilized Orientalism, Eurocentrism, Exceptionalism and, last but not least, Neo-Colonialism. No wonder the Global South was riveted by what developed in Moscow.

Adding insult to injury, we have China, the world’s largest economy by far when measured by purchasing power parity (PPP), as well as the largest exporter. And we have Russia, an economy that by PPP is equivalent or even larger than Germany’s – with the added advantages of being the world’s largest energy exporter and not forced to de-industrialize.

Together, in synch, they are focused on creating the necessary conditions to bypass the US dollar.

Cue to one of President Putin’s crucial one-liners: “We are in favor of using the Chinese yuan for settlements between Russia and the countries of Asia, Africa and Latin America.”

A key consequence of this geopolitical and geoeconomic alliance, carefully designed throughout the past few years, is already in play: the emergence of a possible triad in terms of global trade relations and, in many aspects, a Global Trade War.

Eurasia is being led – and largely organized – by the Russia-China partnership. China will also play a key role across the Global South, but India may also become quite influential, agglutinating what would be a Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) on steroids. And then there is the former “indispensable nation” ruling over the EU vassals and the Anglosphere rounded up in the Five Eyes.

🗺 The panorama of geopolitics has long been proscribed from the public gaze and ignored.

Geopolitics is a relatively young scientific discipline which was established in the second half of the 19th century under the influence of many societal and historical processes characteristic of that period in world history. It was conditioned by the interaction of three factors as follows:

• the first element: the expansion of capitalism as a way of societal provision and ‘managing’ the economy, which required new forms of transport, traffic, communication of people and trade.
• the second element: the change in spiritual-religious paradigm in which the element of spatiality as a key element of geopolitics is not viewed in its metahistorical and metaphysical meaning any more as a sacred or sacral reality and more and more as a physical geographical given and as a resource potential about which the great powers of the time/age contemplate.
• the third element: strictly political relations around the process of the unification of Germany in 1871. That event most profoundly changed the course of the European and the world politics because from 1871 to the beginning of the First World War came the period which the scientific historiography marks as the era of Imperialism; when the great world powers of that time were striving to articulate their own imperial goals theoretically through geopolitics as a new scientific discipline. The process of the unification of Germany opened up a serious geopolitical issue, which left its indelible mark on the whole 20th century and particularly its first half. That issue was the challenges of the centrality of Germany. Therefore, in the same way as the obsessive topic of German geopolitics was to articulate the German sphere of interest and then in the same way as it was the obsessive issue among competitive powers to limit and restrain this German influence and to respond in such a way that that German challenge caused a colossal protest in the social conscience of the societal and geopolitical elites of Europe at the time.

🪆 Russia’s problem is not that the West does not understand Russia. The drama of Russia is that Russia does not understand the West 🤔

Thus, there emerges that continual consternation by Russian politicians at the (political) moves of the West at the global scene.

Russia is one great European nation whose elite fails to understand its position on the global scene and define itself in it in a rational and unique way. The inferiority complex, immaturity, naivety, conformism and even egoism are the permanent features of a substantial part of the Russian elite.

It is to do with that part of it, which seems to be refusing to grow up and cannot grasp the roots and depths of Russophobia in the West.

🌀The sense that things are bad, and getting worse, is palpable. There is an undeniable eschatological tint to today’s zeitgeist. Spiralling geo-political factors all suggest extreme turbulence ahead.

Biden and the Democrats discover – to their surprise – that they are in a ‘bind’: Having thought to run in 2024 on ‘the Biden economic record’, Biden’s Team finds prospects dissolving in the face of accelerating events.

And Ukraine – which was to be precursor to the toppling of Russia per se – looks more likely to descend into débâcle. With defeat on two fronts (the financial ‘war’ and diplomatic) already established, and with the Ukrainian entity now incrementally atrophying under Russian military attrition on yet another front, Washington frets whether or not to run a Ukrainian offensive at all – fearing it might seal a Ukrainian catastrophe.

Kiev hears Washington’s equivocation on the likely outcome of the Ukrainian offensive; Kiev understands too that this could mean ‘curtains’ for the Zelensky ‘project’ – were Biden to decide that it is time to draw a line under it, and to complete the pivot to China. It would mean literally ‘the end’ for most of the Kiev leadership.

China and Russia are joining hands militarily. This will portend a strategic paradigm change that may force a U.S. re-consideration of the way ahead 🎯

🌑 The present moment is defined darkly as one of severe economic forebodings, co-existing with a mood of political impasse. It is becoming increasingly clear to more and more people in the West that something has gone terribly wrong with the ‘Ukraine project’.

Sunny predictions and projections of certain victory did not materialise, and instead, the West is facing the reality of the blood-drenched sacrifice of hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian men to their fantasy of Osiris dismembered. The West does not know what to do. It ambles around, looking lost 🌀

The whole mess is sometimes explained as a result of a miscalculation by the western élites. The situation, however, is far worse than that: The sheer dysfunctionality and the prevalence of institutional entropy is so obvious that there is little need to say more.

The dysfunction of the West runs far deeper than just the situation around the Ukraine project. It is absolutely everywhere.

🌏⚡️🌎 The Ukraine issue has mobilised the majority of non-western states into something resembling an insurrection against the Rules Order, and to the demand it be radically reformed.

The Ukraine war has has fired-up something latent; something bubbling away under the surface inside the western sphere. Put simply, it has stirred a shift in the global consciousness 🌀

Russia cannot be suspected of deliberately having fuelled this ‘cultural war’, for its roots lie firmly within Euro-American political teleology. The divide was primed to happen anyway – but Ukraine has been an accelerant.

The Global South can empathise with those resisting cultural impositions that run against the grain of longstanding civilisational values.
