📝 Post-injection pain. Why it may occur and how to avoid it.
Post-injection pain, or PIP, generally speaking is the pain experienced after taking an intramuscular shot of a certain substance, in our case a mixture of a hormone salt, any concentration of solvent, preservatives/antiseptics, and a carrier. Most of the pain is caused when carrier and solvents are absorbed by the body and the crystals are left behind in the muscle pocket.
In this article, we’re going to go over the main causes for PIP:
❕How long the ester is: shorter esters (e.g., propionate or acetate) form harder, stronger crystals, with a melting point close to 100ºC, while longer esters often have a melting point closer to a human’s body temperature of around 30 to 40ºC, the exception being cypionate, a longer ester with higher melting point.

🔖 Training Pro Tip: Partial superset / isolation
This is a superset, so two exercises are performed with minimal rest between them.
❕The first exercise should be a multi-joint exercise where partial range of motion is used and the second should be an isolation exercise.
❕How you do the partials is important.
❕The target muscle must be kept in tension long enough, so the partials are executed at a very constant and moderate tempo⏲, something like 3 seconds down and 2 seconds up, squeezing all the way.
❕Try to maintain the same low speed throughout the movement, focusing on maintaining tension on the target muscle.
❕It should take the same time to do the partials as it does to do a normal rep with the full range of motion ⌛️.
✔️Do 8-10 reps on both the set and the isolation exercise.

🌐 One of the most common side effects of steroid use is sterility, this is due to the loss of spermatogenesis, ✅ the good thing is that there are a large number of clinical studies on the subject and with very high effectiveness rates.
❕Spermatogenesis and its restoration depends on two factors:
✔️ The stimulation of Sertoli cells by FSH for which they will use HMG (Menotropin).
✔️ And that to assure thay intratesticular testosterone is in range, which will be achieved through the use of HCG.
🗃 There have been many studies on this, with different treatment protocols.
✅Here is the one used in adults who have cycled steroids in the past or are currently on TRT. If someone wanst to recover or maintain spermatogenesis during / after a cycle of anabolic steroids or use of exogenous testosterone (TRT for example):
To keep it: 500IU every other day of HCG
To restore it: 1000-3000IU of HCG 3 times a week combined with 75-150IU 3 times a week of recombinant FSH.
💡Duration will have to be based on a semen quality analysis (This is a specific type of analysis that a doctor will have to perform, but on your own you can perform an analysis that counts the number of sperm that can be bought in a pharmacy, this does not indicate the quality of the sperm, only that the number of sperm is adequate).Also if you are using a SERM or AI, you will have to resort to a bit different dosages.
