😑Тебе уже знакома фраза “Cheers”? У неё несколько переводов и, возможно, по картинке ты уже догадался об одном из них.
⠀
🍀Когда мы пьём алкоголь, это аналог русским «Ваше здоровье», «Ну, будем!»:
⠀
⁃ Cheers! Your good health!
⁃ Ну, будем! Ваше здоровье!
⠀
🍀Второе значение - это выражение благодарности в неформальной обстановке:
⠀
⁃ I’ve bought you a drink. Я купил тебе выпить.
⁃ Cheers, mate. Спасибо, приятель.
⠀
🍀Когда прощаемся с кем-то слово “cheers” будет переводиться как “goodbye”:
⠀
⁃ Bye. Пока.
⁃ Cheers, see you next week. Пока, увидимся на следующей неделе.

😫 It can be really frustrating for an English learner to try to learn phrasal verbs, there are so many reasons for struggling with them:
📝 First, there are so many of them! Even if we tried we couldn’t teach you all of them in a single lesson.
💭 Second, phrasal verbs are extremely common in informal English, so for any learner it is really important to be able to fully understand them. Not only to be able to follow conversations but also to make your speech sound more natural.
✨ Pass out - to become unconscious
I passed out after sitting in the sun for hours.
✨ Run after - to chase
He ran after the thief and was able to get his wallet back.
✨ Hang out - to spend time together
They always hang out for hours at the park.
✨ Clear up - to tidy
Did he clear up his room ?

Tips for the IELTS Listening Test:
Tip 1- Be Proactive and 100% Focused (No kidding).
Tip 2- Always Underline or Mark the Keywords from the Question in Advance.(You get plenty of time to read the questions of 1st section, save time there and after quickly scanning the first section, try to skim and mark the second section too).
Tip 3- Work Hard on Sections that You Find More Difficult. (1st and 4th sections are comparatively easy).
Tip 4- Take Care with Spelling. If You Spell a Word Incorrectly, it will be Marked as Incorrect.
Tip 5- Take Care of the Word Count in the Instructions of each Question.
For example, if the instructions say “write no more than one word” than you can only write one single word. Don't use any helping word with the answer.
Tip 6- If You Miss a Blank do not Stuck there, Leave it and Move On or Else You will Miss the Next Blank too.

Такого не рассказывают в школе, потому что выражение считается, мягко говоря, не литературным. Раньше ain't использовали только необразованные люди из низшего класса. Ходят слухи, что чаще всего его можно услышать на юге Америки, иногда в Канаде, а вот англичане отметают всякую возможность его употребления. Тем не менее, встретить ain't в книге или услышать в фильме или песне реально.
⠀
Что же оно означает?
⠀
По факту, ain't заменяет глагол to be, глагол do и have. Не хило, да?
⠀
I’m not – I ain’t
She isn’t – she ain’t
They aren’t – they ain’t
I ain’t your friend.
I am not your friend.
Я не твой друг.
⠀
I don’t – I ain’t
She doesn’t – she ain’t
She ain’t work here.
She doesn’t work here.
Она здесь не работает.
⠀
I haven’t – I ain’t
He hasn’t – he ain’t
I ain’t got time for this.
I haven’t got time for this.
У меня нет на это времени.
⠀
Теперь понятно, почему раньше его использовали необразованные люди. Потому что сейчас, изучая язык, самому сложно запомнить, где какой глагол поставить🤷🏻♂️ #speakupenglish
