Police continued to investigate Singh, who allegedly continued to use the freight forwarding company to import three separate consignments, containing more than 20 million cigarettes, from the United Arab Emirates.
In May, investigators discovered he was allegedly planning to import 50kg of cocaine in a shipping container from Panama, concealed in cement bags

In July last year, police found more than 280kg of liquid methamphetamine in an industrial cooler imported from Vancouver, Canada, allegedly organised by Singh.
On August 5 that year, two men, aged 43 and 31, were allegedly seen accessing the cooler and preparing to extract the liquid meth at a location in Riverstone.

Police arrested the 43-year-old man at a fast-food restaurant in Londonderry about 7pm that same day.
Officers searched an address in the same suburb and allegedly found gel blasters, a meth cookbook, and other items used to manufacture and supply drugs.

Police alleged Singh sought help from two men who flew in from Canada to retrieve the cocaine from the cement bags and onward supply it to organised crime groups in NSW.

▫️When social media is complicit: 5 teenage girls trafficked in Thailand are free
They were being advertised on social media through suggestive posts. Buyers could then message four different traffickers online to arrange a meeting with one of the girls in person to sexually abuse them. The youngest girl was just 13 years old.
Fortunately, The Exodus Road has uses for social media too. Our team regularly uses cyber investigation tactics to identify trafficking in partnership with police. We collected information about these teenagers and delivered it to law enforcement. They were able to remove these girls from their traffickers, arresting the four perpetrators in the process. Our social workers were on site to provide immediate emotional support and care to these survivors. The four perpetrators are now facing justice.

▫️105 Rwandans rescued from human trafficking
KIGALI - At least 105 Rwandans were rescued from human trafficking from June 2024 to May this year, authorities announced on Monday.
Speaking at a press conference in Kigali, the capital of Rwanda, Thierry Murangira, spokesperson of the Rwanda Investigation Bureau, said the majority of the victims had been trafficked to different countries, while 57 were intercepted before being flown out of the country. Murangira said the traffickers work with agents using the internet to lure their victims through making bogus promises of lucrative jobs and education scholarships. He said the victims could be subjected to forced labor, including commercial sex work.

▫️Four arrests in raid against human traffickers from Romania
Law enforcement authorities in Switzerland and Romania have busted a human trafficking ring. They arrested a total of 17 suspects.
Members of the group had approached disadvantaged women in Romania via social media, Eurojust, the European Union Agency for Criminal Justice Cooperation, announced on Tuesday. 13 people were arrested in Romania, four in Switzerland.
According to the information provided, the suspected human traffickers pretended to love the victims or lured them abroad with the promise that they could perform sex work there under lucrative conditions. In reality, the victims were forced to work under degrading conditions. Even pregnant women were forced into prostitution. According to the communiqué, the gang operated in German-speaking Switzerland from 2022, particularly in Zurich.

▫️Burkina national arrested in Assin Fosu for human trafficking
The Central North Regional Police Command on Sunday rescued seven foreign nationals trafficked under false pretences by a suspect named Zongo Jeon-Baptiste, a 35-year-old Burkinabe. The victims, two females and five males from Mali, Togo, La Côte d’Ivoire and Burkina Faso, were found confined in a house at Pump-Side, a suburb of Assin Fosu in the Central Region.
The Central North Regional Police Commander who confirmed the arrest to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) said the victims had been lured with false job promises linked to QNET, an international online marketing company, but were held under suspicious conditions. The rescue, he said followed a tip-off on Sunday, June 1, 2025, leading to the arrest of eight individuals, including Zongo Jeon-Baptiste.

▫️Spain: Man arrested in Bilbao for storing 467 child pornography videos
After more than a year and a half of investigation, the Civil Guard has arrested in Bilbao a man who had stored in different devices a total of 25 images and 467 videos with pedophile content, where minors of different ages, including babies, appeared. The Guardia Civil carried out a superficial study of one of the devices by dumping the data from a laptop computer belonging to one of the detainees. It was then when the agents discovered 24 pedophilic files, so they made a report of the material found for allegedly committing a crime of child pornography.

▫️Gibraltar police sergeant charged with 15 child pornography offences
A Royal Gibraltar Police officer has been charged with 15 offenses related to child pornography, for which he will have to appear before a judge this Thursday. According to the Gibraltar Police in a note, it is a 43-year-old sergeant who is charged with nine offenses of possession of indecent photographs of children, three others of taking or publishing indecent photographs of children, one of attempted communication of a sexual nature with a child and two counts of possession of an extreme pornographic image.

▫️Moroccan educator jailed in Spain for raping 15-year-old girl in his care
Despite his claims of innocence, the 31-year-old Moroccan-born man was sentenced to six years in prison and barred from working with minors for over a decade, but won't be deported
A Moroccan national has been sentenced to six years in prison for sexually assaulting a minor during his employment as an educator at a juvenile center. As reported by La Opinión de Murcia, the incident occurred in March 2021 but was only resolved this year with a final court ruling. After returning to her residential facility, the victim confided in a classmate, who reported the incident to other educators. The man was immediately transferred from his role the following day.
In addition to his prison sentence, the man will serve five years of supervised probation after his release. He is prohibited from approaching the victim for six years and banned from working in any capacity involving regular contact with minors for 11 years. He is not understood to be subject to deportation proceedings.

▫️Iran rescues 10 Pakistani hostages from Human Traffickers
In a significant crackdown on human trafficking, Iranian authorities have rescued ten Pakistani nationals who were being held hostage by traffickers under false promises of passage to Europe.
Following the successful operation, the rescued individuals were safely transferred to the Pakistani Embassy in Iran.  Pakistan’s Ambassador to Iran, Mudassir Tipu, expressed deep gratitude to Iranian officials for their swift and effective action. He confirmed that the rescued citizens are receiving proper care and all necessary support.

▫️Army detains over 16,000 undocumented Haitians in May
Santo Domingo.- The Dominican Army reported that 16,501 undocumented Haitians were detained and handed over to Immigration authorities during the month of May for repatriation procedures. These arrests took place as part of daily operations conducted across various provinces.
In addition, 55 individuals were referred to the Public Prosecutor’s Office on charges related to human trafficking.

▫️Indian Social Media Influencer Arrested in Turkey for Live-Streaming Harassment of Tour Guide
A disturbing incident has surfaced in which an Indian social media influencer, identified as Malik Vinashbakler, was arrested by Turkish authorities for allegedly harassing and threatening to sexually assault a Turkish tour guide during a live stream. The influencer had hired multiple local women as tour guides during his trip to Turkey and broadcasted his interactions with them on social media platforms, including explicit and suggestive content. In one of the videos, Malik can be seen discussing with his audience in Hindi whether he should livestream himself harassing the tour guide, and later claims that he plans to get the guide drunk and sexually assault her that night.
