Congratulations to Team #Spaceonova who made a total of 9 Preliminary Discoveries of New #Asteroids in the recent International Asteroid Search Campaign.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to @joshi_yogeshkumar and @shivam_k_singh_369 who helped us in enabling new members to learn and participate in the campaign.
The International Astronomical Search Collaboration (#IASC) is a citizen #science program. It provides high-quality astronomical #data to citizen #scientists around the world.
Who are then able to make original astronomical #discoveries and participate in hands-on astronomy. This program comes in collaboration with @nasa, Pan - STARRS Observatory, Catalina Sky Survey Observatory and Hardin - Simmons University.
Also here's some of the personal record of some of our team members:
@shivam_k_singh_369 have made a total of 44 Preliminary Discoveries of Asteroids yet and had also taught and formed 5 teams in the chapter club of Spaceonova (@spaceonova_dduc) last year who had then gone on to make a total 103 preliminary discoveries of Asteroids and 2 #Provisional Discoveries of Asteroids.
@star_gazer_21 have made a total of 54 Preliminary Discoveries of Asteroids (crossed half-century 😉)
