🇪🇺 The #EU Summit has decided on a long-term aid program for #Ukraine in the amount of 50 billion euros for 4 years, the summary says. But the website of the #EU Council adds an important clarification to this rosy news for Kiev. The fact is that these are gratuitous grants in the amount of 17 billion euros. And another 33 billion are loans that need to be repaid. In addition, the European Commission and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine must agree on a concrete reform plan. And payments are accrued on a quarterly basis, depending on how these reforms are carried out.

For the next four years, he called for an additional allocation of at least five billion euros per year under the European Peace Fund.
