Let us never forget that Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes, and pray for the salvation of Jew and Gentile alike. Let us thank God for His faithfulness to Israel; past, present, and future, and rejoice that His promises to them, and to us, are true and cannot be broken. Let us pray for the day when the current blindness to the truth is lifted from Israel's eyes, and Jesus returns as their Messiah and King to set up His earthly kingdom as promised to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and His Seed, forever.

Oh, what a glorious privilege it is to have our hope in God. May we be motivated to enlarge our perspective of our glorious God of Hope and fix our hope on Him Who has already blessed us with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places, in Christ Jesus our Lord. May we continue to trust in His unbreakable Word and live our lives in a manner that honours His holy name.

David rejoiced to sing praises to the Lord His God Who does great things for His servants and Whose glorious character and attributes are proclaimed abroad, trumpeted throughout the extremity of the heavens by creation itself, and hidden in plain sight within the pages of sacred Scripture. 
Both the performances and the promises of God are the subject of David's high acclaim and great rejoicing in God's eternal splendour, which is further revealed in the Person of the Lord Jesus Christ Who is the final revelation of the greatness of God, Whom to know is life eternal.

Let us keep the Word of God fresh in our hearts each day. Let us recognise our faults and failings and readily confess our sins to our Father in heaven. Let us never forget that we are the people of God who have been purchased with the precious blood of Christ ~ and that the many precious promises of God towards us, his sons and heirs, are 'yes' and 'amen' in Christ Jesus.
And let us in everything, by prayer and praise, rejoice in the Lord and abide in His love, for the joy of the Lord is indeed our strength, through time and into eternity.

The next few days could see the conflict in the Middle East rise to a whole 'nother level. Will Israel allow Iran to take her best shot with a wave of missiles fired from Iraq and other proxy locations, and maybe some launched from Iran too? Or will Israel strike preemptively based on Iran's threat? Will Israel go after missile bunkers and silos, or nuclear sites, or oil refineries, or tech targets? Will she go after military and political leaders? Israel has insisted that this next attack will be ramped up. No matter what happens, it sure seems like the Gog & Magog scenario is starting to dawn upon the world.

Whatever the source of our trials and temptations, we can choose one of two routes. We can seek to battle through in our own strength, wondering if God really cares as the pressure increases until we finally give~up, or we can remember that God is in control, we can rejoice in the Lord and consider it pure joy, recognising it as one of the various trials which God will use to fine~tune our faith, increase our dependence upon Him, develop our Christian character, and bring us closer to spiritual maturity.

As believers, we are not under Law but under Grace because Christ fulfilled the Law on our behalf. As believers, we have been removed from the Law of sin and death by faith in Christ, and are now under the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus. This means that HE is to live His life through us so that it is not I that live but Christ that lives in me, to His praise and glory.

All who trust in Jesus as Saviour are credited with His righteousness, for we too have trusted the Word of God for salvation. All who believe the good news that Christ died for their sins and rose the third day to pay the price for their sins, have been clothed in the righteousness of Christ, by faith. As righteousness has been credited to us on His behalf, let us live by faith so that all that we do is done by faith and not by our flesh. And just as we were credited with righteousness at salvation, let us continue to live by faith, with thanksgiving for all that He has done for us.

2 Thess 2:13-14, "But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth, to which He called you by our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ."

Not only does the Lord desire a vertical oneness of each of His children with Himself, but He also yearns that we have a horizontal oneness with our brothers and sisters in the Body of Christ; that we become one in principle and purpose, one in thought and word and deed, one in faith and doctrine, one in love and hope. He desires that individually and collectively the Church of God, which is His Body, demonstrates the glory of the indwelling Spirit of Christ by means of an outward demonstration of a holy character and a godly life, full of grace and truth.

When Jesus said, “Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks,” He meant that consistently sinful words and deeds are indicative of a sinful heart. Rather than always giving people “the benefit of the doubt,” we would do well to recognize the “fruit” we observe and respond accordingly. Being a “fruit inspector” does not mean we consider ourselves to be without sin; it does mean that we are realistic about whom to trust and whom we allow to exert influence over us and the people for whom we are responsible.
