Chatting with some dear friends about prophecy and the current situation in Israel.

This situation will probably not be going away soon. This will very likely lead to pain in Southern Lebanon, followed by pain in Iran and Iranian positions in Syria.

There is some chatter that we are seeing Psalm 83 unfold before our eyes. I would point out that Psalm 83 involves nations while the current conflict involves terrorist organizations. This could evolve into the Psalm 83 War, but most likely it will set the stage for the Psalm 83 War.

The call for a day of global jihad on Friday October 13 is bone chilling. May God watch over America, Europe, Canada, Australia.

We appear to be on the home stretch of the race. May we all seek the Lord for renewed strength, vision, and faith. Things could get tough before they get AWESOME.

The freight train of apostasy will soon collide with the freight train of judgment. The collision will leave the world a pile of rubble and ashes, and the kingdom will be established in everlasting glory.

There is no going forward with the gospel or vital truth in this satanically-dominated world without opposition. Darkness hates light. Lies hate truth.

Those with the best uplook have the best outlook. Prophecy is the key to understanding the world we live in.

The greatest enemy of the devoted believer is not gross sin, the world, or the devil. It is his own ego. Don't get in the way of what the Lord is trying to do through you.

Here is a good rule of thumb. NEVER go down the conspiracy theory path for an explanation of an event unless it is the ONLY explanation that actually fits and explains the data. If mundane mistakes and oversights and lack of foresight explain the situation, then run with that and resist the conspiracy theory no matter how enticing it seems. Don't be an easy target for the adversary. One of the most successful conspiracies that Satan is deploying in the world is the proliferation of conspiracy-theory rabbit holes.

The conspiracy mentality and the date-setting mentality are both addictions. Men get a dopamine rush from these practices. And when one dopamine rush wears off, they chase the next one.

God help us to tremble at the word of God and to use our God-given reason in a manner that will past muster at the bema seat of Christ.

New theory being floated by some of the bigger names in the date setting crowd. The current war will lead directly to the third temple.

This is a low probability outcome. Unless this war morphs into Psalm 83 war, and the strong opposition from the Muslim community is turned into a historical footnote, the odds that the temple will be built in the immediate future (like in the next year on the heels of the current war) is pretty close to zero. Historical precedent suggests that this war will end with Hamas at least partially intact and the other fundamentalist terrorist organizations barely scathed. The most likely scenario is that this war will set the stage for Psalm 83 and Ezek. 38-39, and that the temple will be rebuilt after the fundamentalist Islamic problem is snuffed out, and the antichrist forces a deal upon Israel which gives them permission to rebuild the temple in return for concessions.

The temptation to quit is a moment of potential glory. Don't let the enemy convince you to surrender or retreat. Stay in the fight. Face the giant. Look to God for supernatural courage, strength, help, and wisdom. Glorious victory is available.
