When Jesus is given His rightful place in our lives, we can be sure that we are in the will of God and serving His purpose in our lives. Wherever we are, whatever our role in the Body of Christ, and however vast or insignificant our ministry for our Lord may be, when Jesus is central in every area of life we are bound to say, "He must increase, but I must decrease." When we can testify to this truth we may be sure that we are in the right place and in the centre of His purpose and plan for our life.

May we so grow in grace and in a knowledge of the Lord Jesus that we die to ourselves and live for Christ. Day by day, may we be so united in spirit and truth that we are being transformed in the likeness of the Lord Jesus so that the things that we do and the words that we speak are carried out because we abide in Christ and He in us. Just as Jesus did not speak on His own initiative, but did so through the Father living within and working through Him, may we not speak in our own authority but joyfully submit to His perfect will in our lives.

The dangers of which Paul warned Timothy, are equally concerning in our time and our culture. May we take to heart this teaching on the dangers of all forms of apostasy, give heed all his instructions on godly living, look to Scripture as our plumb~line for truth, and translate it into our daily practice, for His name sake.

May we never be tempted to lose heart in life's difficult circumstances, nor despair when we see the wicked flourish. May we maintain our trust in the Lord despite the deteriorating world situation we witness and false teachers that are flooding our places of worship. God is not mocked, and judgement and punishment will be meted out to the wicked in His time and in His way, and deliverance is assured to those that are His, for ALL His ways are perfect and His judgement are altogether righteous.

Jesus is the rightful King over all the earth, for His redeeming blood paid the purchase price for lost humanity, and in His goodness and grace, He has appointed all who believe in His sacrificial death and glorious Resurrection, to rule and reign with Him in His coming kingdom. What amazing grace. What ineffable love. What incredible mercy. What breath~taking righteousness. What a wonderful Saviour!

Such a man keeps his eye on the goal of his calling as he runs the race of life through its many pitfalls and problems. Such a man trusts his Lord with all his heart and understands that Godβs grace is sufficient for all his needs. He will lay aside all other considerations and press on to finish the task the Lord has given him to do ~ knowing that Christ is his sufficiency and Christ is his strength.

It now appears that Israel is going to enter Rafah in the near future. Will be interesting to see how the Iranians and their proxies, the Russians, the Saudis, and the American government respond.

God gives the one who trusts in the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour peace with God and He will keep the believer in Christ Jesus covered in His own perfect peace, by giving us the peace of God which transcends human understanding. Let us ensure that the thoughts of our hearts are fixed on the Lord Jesus moment by moment as we take every thought captive to Him, for God has promised to keep in perfect peace all who trust in Him and fasten the eyes of their hearts upon Him.

The one who truly humbles himself in the sight of God is the one who makes himself lowly of heart before the Lord, by admitting the greatness of our God and acknowledging His magnificent majesty. It is confessing that without the Lord we can do nothing. It is trusting Him in all things and relying on Him to carry out the good work that He has prepared for us to do in His power and for His ultimate glory.

Postmillennialism is the ancient error of high-church Augustinianism that has revised their eschatology to justify their worldly goals and whitewashed the whole with a thin veneer of evangelicalism.
