May we learn to consciously love the Lord with our heart, to love Him with every fibre of our being. May we seek to love the Lord with all our soul; to love Him with our will and our emotions. May we be determined to love the Lord with all our mind; our intellect and undivided attention. May we endeavour to love the Lord with all our strength; to love Him with every part of ourself, spirit, soul, and body.

The unchangeable nature of our Saviour, Jesus Christ, is an all~embracing assurance that His Word is faithful, and His promises are true, His saving grace is free to all who trust in Him for salvation, and none of the many precious promises contained in the Word of God can ever fail.
The unchangeable God has spoken of His unchangeable Son Who is the SAME; yesterday, today, tomorrow, and throughout the eternity of eternities. His love is unconditional, His grace is everlasting, and His truth endures from one generation to another.

Let us give glory to God that, as believers in the Church age, we will take part in the Rapture of the Church, whether as part of the dead in Christ, or one who is alive and remain. Let the grim realisation of the second death renew our hearts and minds to tell out to a lost and dying world the glorious plan of salvation in Jesus Christ: "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved."

May we never forget that we are not to become judge or jury for the sin of our fellow man, for we are all sinners, and only by God's grace have we been forgiven of our sin. We can judge the false teaching through knowledge of Scripture, and we should judge ourselves, to see if we are walking in spirit and truth, but we are all sinners, saved by grace and for that, we praise and thank our heavenly Father.

May the mind of Christ direct all our actions and attitudes, our thoughts and the motives of our hearts, and may His gracious attitude be reflected in us as we seek to live lives that are pleasing in His sight, for His praise and glory.

The man or woman who is walking in truth is the one who is not only doctrinally sound... but who is humble of heart, growing in grace, standing fast on the Word, rejoicing in the Lord, and living in love and unity with their brothers in Christ. The one who is living in truth is the one who is submitted to God, standing firm in the faith, resisting the evil one, and permitting the Word of God and the truth it contains to dwell within them richly, with all wisdom and in love as it is applied in their lives for the glory of God.

As we examine ourselves, let us not fall into a legalistic 'works based' mindset, thinking 'I need to do this or that'. Rather, let us realise that resting in Him and allowing Him to work through us, to His praise and glory, is what He desires for us.

Weakness is not normally the attribute that commends a man in the world in which we live. However, in God's economy, when we are weak in our own strength we are strong in the Lord. When we are despised by the world we are esteemed by the Lord. When we are humble before the Lord He will exalt us, and when we suffer for righteousness' sake we can be joyful, for Christ is our Head and in Him, when we are weak, we are strong.

The special interest and intricate care that God places on the beautiful adornment of a wild wayside flower, which blossoms today, but tomorrow quickly fades and is cast into the oven and burnt in the noonday sun, should create in us a confident trust in God's faithful provision for each of His children. If the natural beauty of a wild lily~of~the~field rivals the glories of Solomon, how much more will our heavenly Father be mindful of the everyday needs and the necessities of our daily lives.

It was Paul who encouraged us to give thanks in everything ~ so let our hearts and voices explode into a great hymn of praise and thanksgiving to the LORD, for He is good and His steadfast love endures forever, for His faithfulness extends throughout time and into the far reaches of eternity.

The Blessed Hope for which we look, and for which we long, is not the fatalistic, fanciful, fingers~crossed hope of the world, that leaves in its wake hollow emptiness and unfulfilled desires. Our Blessed Hope is knowledge of the truth intertwined with the 'stuff' of faith, which trusts God's Word as fact, and treats the heavenly things, (in the spiritual realm), that are invisible to our physical sight, as indisputable reality.

As we see the day of His glorious appearance advancing quickly, in both the physical world and our own walk of faith, may we be those that stand fast and watch intently for His soon return, as we look for that Blessed Hope and the any~day appearing of the glory of our great and gracious God ~ Who is Jesus Christ, our Saviour and Lord.

When we are in Christ, God sees us as perfect through His Son, but we have a choice to LIVE the life that Christ lived on earth. He lived in spirit and truth, in utter dependence on the Father, and in total obedience to Him. In order for us to follow His example, we need to submit to the Spirit and allow Christ to live in us so that we are not simply positioned in Him, but functioning through Him; allowing the very life of Christ to be lived in and through us, by the power of the Holy Spirit.

God knows that we are weak and frail and He knows that the testing of our faith can cause us to complain or murmur or to become unsteady in our Christian walk.. but God provides all the wisdom we need to maintain a steady heart, patient endurance, and an unwavering, uncompromised faith in Him. God delights to give generously to all who ask ~ but we must be prepared to ask Him, to listen to His voice, and to obey His Word.

It is only as we grow in grace, become mature in the faith, and keep a short rein of sin in our lives, that we will produce the spiritual fruit that exemplifies the spirit~filled believer.

Only as we live and walk and pray in spirit and in truth, will our lives produce this singular fruit of God's Holy Spirit, and we will be equipped to say with Paul, "It is not I who live ~ but Christ, Who lives in me."

It seems to be a certainty that Israel will respond to Iran's attack in the near future. How severe will her response be? She needs to decapitate the snake. But the stronger her response, the stronger will be the opposition from her allies. Worse, the stronger Israel's response, the stronger Iran's response in turn. This could expand into regional conflict.

A strong response from Israel could also lead to Russia using a similar show of force in Ukraine, bringing that conflict to a sudden end and freeing Russia to allocate more military resources on behalf of her Middle East allies.

God Himself is the source of all spiritual illumination and He is the subject of all spiritual revelation, but the indwelling Spirit of Christ is the channel through Whom the Holy Scriptures are unveiled to us. The Spirit of God enlightens the eyes of our heart, when we willingly submit to His leading and guidance, and when we depend upon Him in all things. May we have ears to hear and eyes to see.
