Nobody better knows what you need to be happy in the long run than your Creator. Trust Him. Trust His word. Running after your feelings and emotions is a guaranteed train wreck.

May we, who have been saved by grace through faith, make ourselves available to the leading and guidance of the Holy Spirit so that lost sinners may be given the opportunity to hear the gospel and believe, through our ministry ~ for how shall they hear if no one is willing to tell them?

JUDGMENT STORM
Jeremiah 25:3-38

See, from His holy dwelling place,
The Lord on high with thunder roars.
He comes to end the day of grace,
And wage the final war of wars.

His voice, a mighty trumpet sounds,
He shouts like those who tread the grapes.
His fury all the globe surrounds,
And no one on the earth escapes.

A controversy has the Lord
With all the world’s inhabitants.
The wicked feel His piercing sword,
And reap their righteous recompense.

Disaster, says the Lord of hosts,
Is coming down on every hand.
A whirlwind rises from the coasts,
And covers every bit of land.

Unheeding, though so often warned,
The slain on all the earth are found,
Not gathered, buried, grieved, or mourned,
Like dung, they lie on open ground.

You shepherds, howl with painful cries,
Distraught, in dust and ashes roll.
You face the day of your demise,
Soon broken, like a dainty bowl.

The shepherds have no place to flee,
With nowhere for the flock to hide.
The leaders wail in agony,
And mourn their peaceful countryside.

The Lord in anger cut it down.
Their pleasant meadows He laid waste,
And every city, every town,
The fierceness of His wrath has faced.

A lion, He has left His lair,
His fiery judgment comes at last.
No more will He in mercy spare,
The time to kiss the Son is past.

When engaged in the common doctrinal controversies of our day, I regularly get the distinct feeling that the person I am conversing with makes no clear distinction between the word of God and their "official" or "vaunted" interpretations of the word of God. This is tragic. This distinction is not seminary-level sophistication. It is grade-school-level basics.

Rev 21:4  And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

"No one comes to the Father but by Me," were the words of Christ to a lost race of sinners, for He is the Word of God Who was made flesh and was chosen to be the one intermediary, the singular intercessor, the sole adjudicator, the only Mediator between God and man. The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen His glory ~ glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Let us take to heart this issue of personal responsibility and make it our primary motive to live a life that is honouring to the Father. Let us take account of how we live, and let us permit others to do the same in their lives, without fear or favour, for we are only accountable to the Lord for our life and the life we have lived.
Therefore, let us live as unto Him and run the race to win.

Nowhere does the Bible tell us to reform this world. Those who seemed to be in a position to do so (Joseph as second only to Pharoah, Esther and Mordacai under Emperor Ahasuerus, and Daniel under several kings) were used of God to preserve His chosen people, but never to reform godless societies. Christ never attempted to reform the evil world of His day, nor did the Apostles or early church engage in marches or demonstrations either for Jesus or against evil. They "turned the world upside down" (Acts 17:6) by preaching the gospel, not by preaching "traditional morals" or protesting the world's evil practices. (Dave Hunt)

The wonderful mystery that was given to us through Paul and which was hidden in ages past is: Christ IN you; Christ IN me; Christ in us; Christ in every member of the Body of believers: "Christ in you the hope of glory." This is a glorious truth that is worthy of our everlasting thanks and praise. Let us live each day as befits this worthy position, to His praise and His glory.

And so it was, at this point in God's plan of salvation, that Christ... the Lamb of God Who takes away the sin of the world, could step forward and carry out the final act which would irrevocably set in motion the full and final redemption of the world.
May we lift up our voices in thanksgiving and praise, and join with that magnificent truth: "Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for Thou wast slain, and hast redeemed US to God by thy blood ~ out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation." Hallelujah, AMEN.

Simeon was a righteous man who had been promised by God that he would not die before he had seen the promised Hope of Israel, and his faith in God's Word was not disappointed. Today, we have the full and final revelation of God in the inspired Word of God. Let us, like Simeon, take all that God has written in His Word to heart and believe with childlike expectation that our eyes will soon see our Saviour, as we wait for Christ's any day return in the clouds for His Church.

Dinner with some dear friends.

Color me unsurprised. Why would Iran want to risk having her nuclear program turned to rubble?

As in times of old, we too have God's trustworthy Word. We also have innumerable promises that God will lead us and prepare the way that we take. We have His assurance that He will be with us on our journey, stay with us through all the circumstances of life, never leave us alone, and finally take us to be with Himself forever. Let us never be afraid or discouraged, for we have God's wonderful assurance that He will not leave us nor forsake us ~ and let us never forget that God's Word is to be trusted. Praise God, that even when we are weak and our faith fails, He remains faithful, for His Word is true and He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself.

Zec 14:1-3
1 Behold, the day of the Lord comes, and your spoil shall be divided in the midst of you. 2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle … 3 Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.

Trusting AI to help us with tasks in eternity will be as easy and delightful as a cup of coffee. Trusting AI in this fallen world is giving Satan carte blanche to brainwash folks.
