Faith is not a meritorious work that we have performed which makes us deserving of our salvation. Trusting Christ as Saviour, must never be viewed as an undertaking on our account, which has rendered us deserving of the righteous covering of Christ: "For there is none righteous, no not one," not you nor me. Faith must never ever be viewed as a ticket that has earned us a right to salvation... NEVER. Salvation is simply God's gracious, unmerited, glorious, free gift to all who simply trust in the name of the only begotten Son of God. Salvation is a gift of God's grace alone, through faith alone, in our Saviour Jesus Christ our Lord.

Jude 1:17-19
17 But, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
18 How they told you that there would be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
19 These are those who separate themselves (from biblical evangelicalism), sensual, not having the Spirit.

There is only one way to heaven, and that is through faith in Christ. Jesus points out: "Not everyone who says to Him, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter." He is the only Door into the coming kingdom. He is the only Way to the Father. And the false prophets and counterfeit professors who produce bad fruit and refuse to do the will of the Father, will one day hear Him say: "Depart from Me, I never knew you."

The Lord Jesus was meek and lowly in heart and we are to learn of Him. His entire life was spent living the life of a man that trusted entirely on God, and He did only those things that He heard from the Father. In like manner, when we take His yoke upon us and learn to live in continuous dependence upon Him, we too shall find rest for our souls, for His yoke is easy and His burden is light.

God's promises to Israel and those to the Church stand fast for ever and ever. And God has promised: "No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man," and God is faithful and will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able. And He will provide a way of escape so that you will be able to endure it. Let us never forget that the temptations and trials in our lives are no different from what others experience. And let us never forget that God is faithful and has promised that He will not allow the temptation to be more than we can bear, but in His grace will provide a way out of it so that we can endure it.

False presuppositions are Trojan horses that are innocently received, then take dictatorial control of your rational faculties and force you to bow to false doctrines.

If men feared God more and trembled at the word of God more, there would be less error in the church.

We often hear the factoid that the word rapture doesn't appear in the Bible. Perhaps this answer will help a few folks.

God knows that when we start to come to terms with the unfathomable mercy that He has shown to us ~ in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us so that by faith in Him we might be forgiven of our sins and receive eternal life ~ that His perfect life will be formed within and we will be enabled to diffuse mercy to others because of the mercy that our Heavenly Father has so graciously bestowed on each one of us.

Heb 10:37, "For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry."

The universe is made for man to inherit as the heirs of God and coheirs of Christ Jesus. Rev. 21:7 says that we shall inherit all things. If we consider that God is good, that God made the universe for man to inherit, and that God made man with an interest in exploring the universe, then it only stands to reason that most solar systems in the infinite galaxies of the universe will have at least one planet in the goldilocks zone, some with a full ecosystem of flora and fauna, some ready to be terraformed.

Nobody better knows what you need to be happy in the long run than your Creator. Trust Him. Trust His word. Running after your feelings and emotions is a guaranteed train wreck.

May we, who have been saved by grace through faith, make ourselves available to the leading and guidance of the Holy Spirit so that lost sinners may be given the opportunity to hear the gospel and believe, through our ministry ~ for how shall they hear if no one is willing to tell them?

JUDGMENT STORM
Jeremiah 25:3-38

See, from His holy dwelling place,
The Lord on high with thunder roars.
He comes to end the day of grace,
And wage the final war of wars.

His voice, a mighty trumpet sounds,
He shouts like those who tread the grapes.
His fury all the globe surrounds,
And no one on the earth escapes.

A controversy has the Lord
With all the world’s inhabitants.
The wicked feel His piercing sword,
And reap their righteous recompense.

Disaster, says the Lord of hosts,
Is coming down on every hand.
A whirlwind rises from the coasts,
And covers every bit of land.

Unheeding, though so often warned,
The slain on all the earth are found,
Not gathered, buried, grieved, or mourned,
Like dung, they lie on open ground.

You shepherds, howl with painful cries,
Distraught, in dust and ashes roll.
You face the day of your demise,
Soon broken, like a dainty bowl.

The shepherds have no place to flee,
With nowhere for the flock to hide.
The leaders wail in agony,
And mourn their peaceful countryside.

The Lord in anger cut it down.
Their pleasant meadows He laid waste,
And every city, every town,
The fierceness of His wrath has faced.

A lion, He has left His lair,
His fiery judgment comes at last.
No more will He in mercy spare,
The time to kiss the Son is past.

When engaged in the common doctrinal controversies of our day, I regularly get the distinct feeling that the person I am conversing with makes no clear distinction between the word of God and their "official" or "vaunted" interpretations of the word of God. This is tragic. This distinction is not seminary-level sophistication. It is grade-school-level basics.
