A couple of my grandkids visited me while I was in the studio with Mondo.

We need to meditate on all the instructions within the Word of God, to dig deep into the resources that are hidden in every passage and page, to be engrossed with God's Word, and to absorb the Scriptures with care and concern. We should compare Scripture with Scripture and pray that the Lord will guide us into all truth and protect us from any doctrinal error, false pride, or undue criticism, and to minister its truths to all that are placed in our sphere of life, as we progress towards an inner beauty that only the Spirit of God can produce in us.

The incredible Christ for whom Paul suffered, the glorious gospel of grace that he proclaimed, and the maturing of the saints in Christ, was the purpose and passion for which Paul strove. A passion and purpose that he could not carry out in his own 'wretched' strength, but a passion and a purpose that was fulfilled by means of the indwelling power of Christ which lived in him and worked mightily through him; a power that works mightily in all who will cease from their own fleshly strivings, rest in His love, and abide in Christ's sufficient strength. For when I am weak then I am strong, enabling the Lord to carry out His plans and purposes in my life through His mighty strength for His grace is sufficient.

Jude 1:3, "Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that you should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints."

One of my pet peeves is teachers making paradigm-changing claims who don't cite their sources. I am reading an article by a respected brother who cited a provocative passage from—supposedly—Ephraim's writings that he cited to prove his point. He didn't give the original source address or the volume and page number of the expert's book that he found the passage in. I just spent three hours word-searching for the relevant terms in all of Ephraim's Greek writings, and in the two major sources of English translations. Not a single passage showed up that resembled the passage he cited. All that is left to search is the Syriac works in Assemani's edition, which gives easy access to searching only with the Latin translation. Unless the source was a serious patristic scholar, the odds this was the source are pretty low.

Like the Psalmist, we should call out to God for deliverance from our enemies, rely on His restoration when attacked, and depend on His sufficient grace to help in time of need. We should be ready and willing to admit our weaknesses and combine humility of heart with a soul that trusts in the Lord with our whole being, and does not rely on our own understanding. May we acknowledge Him in ALL things, knowing that He will teach us His will and lead us in His paths of perfect peace.

There is no such things as high-watch days. Last year did not feature 355 days of lower odds for the rapture and 10 days of higher odds for the rapture. We are deep enough into prophetic convergence that every day is a high watch day. And every new day is incrementally higher in odds than the prior day.

Dan 12:3, "And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever."

The Olympics have finally been purged of the influence of the Judaeo-Christian ethic and returned to their true pagan roots. The whole world is going down the pagan toilet.

There are only two paths in this world: trusting God and trusting yourself — "You shall be as gods, determining good and evil."

This is not a command, for God wants our love and service to be rendered freely and willingly, but in light of the inestimable riches of God's free grace which He has poured out in great measure on fallen sinners simply because we trusted in Christ as our Saviour, surely it should be our joy and delight to present our bodies, day by day, in spiritual worship as a living sacrifice ~ holy and pleasing to the Lord.
