Let us diligently seek to sever our hearts and wills from all that is contrary to the mind of God. Let us come out from among them and become a people separated in mind and motive, separated in action and attitude ~ separated unto God.

Christians similarly must walk that same spiritual path as their heavenly Lord, with the same humble mind and the same teachable disposition that was displayed in the life of Christ Jesus our Lord ~ so that we too can access the mind of the Almighty Son of God, as we abide in Him and He in us.

Jesus went to the Cross in obedience to the Father, for His heart~cry was always, "THY will be done" ~ THY. He went to the Cross to redeem His people Israel... and for love of His people, and all who would believe, He prayed, "Father forgive them for they know not what they do." He went to the Cross for love of the Church and He went to the Cross and endured the pain, for the joy that was set before Him. The Son of God ~ Who is God the Son, despised the shame and stretched out His arms of love, embracing ALL who will believe on His name.

Nothing is more thrilling for a Christian parent, or a believer who has been influential in pointing one younger in the faith to the truth of the gospel, than to see them living according to the truth, walking in fellowship with the Lord Jesus, living in submission to the Holy Spirit's guiding hand, living under the influence of the new man in Christ (and not the old sin nature), and reflecting the grace, truth, love, and humility that flows to them from their Saviour.

When we choose to turn to the world for sustenance and supply in times of difficulty or ease, it means we have turned away from Christ ~ and in so doing, we inhibit or quench the inner workings of the Holy Spirit. When we start to trust in anything other than the Lord Jesus, we are looking to the wrong source of supply and allowing the old sin nature to govern our lives, rather than the new life in Christ which we received at salvation. The eyes of the Lord are still searching out men or women whose heart is completely His so that by grace through faith, Christ may be formed in us.

May we seek to be more like the beloved Gaius, who walked in spirit, truth, and love, and was faithful in whatsoever good works he undertook, for the sake of saints and strangers alike. May we behave as he did, no matter what physical problems we may encounter, for although this dearly beloved elder had an obvious health issue, he was a worthy example of a godly saint who lived a life that was pleasing to the Lord, and for His greater praise and glory.

May we take time to demonstrate in our own prayer~life, a like~minded trust in the goodness and faithfulness of our God and Father ~ for we have a great assurance that He hears and answers the prayers of His children, when they come from a heart that is in fellowship with Him.

Yay! I finally published Ten Potent Proofs for the Pretribulation Rapture. Now I am waiting for it to be accepted so I can order books for the conference. The past week was brutal. Long, hard days at the desk. Editing and proofreading. Fighting Word with its idiosyncracies and automatic settings.

The call to separate from the world and dedicate ourselves to God, must flow from a heart that is truly reconciled to the Lord. We can't run with the hare and the hounds. We can't serve God and Satan. Darkness has no fellowship with light and evil has no affiliation with good. May we worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness and present our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to the Lord, for this should be our spiritual worship and eternal delight.

If we trusted Christ for our redemption by faith and received the life of Christ as a free gift of grace, should not we also choose to live our life in spirit and truth? Should not we who have received all from Christ Jesus, so walk in Him?

"So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness."

It is by bearing the cross for the Lord Jesus through the threads of time that a glorious crown is woven into the master~tapestry of our future, in the eternity of eternities. The coming glory that awaits us, far outweighs any afflictions we suffer today. It is by enduring the sorrows of the night for the sake of Christ, that bright morning joy will explode into everlasting glory.

Let us keep our eyes on Jesus and watch for that blessed hope and His any day return.

Praise God that we have come to a saving knowledge of our Saviour Jesus Christ, and we pray that many who have not known Christ as Saviour and received the forgiveness of sins and life everlasting are convicted of sin, of righteousness, and of judgement in the days that lie ahead ~ before it is too late.

There are many that like to say that God has replaced Israel with the Church, but those pronouncements do not heed the truth of the Word of God, Whose promises are yes and amen in Christ Jesus and Whose Word stands fast for ever and ever. Let us never forget that the gifts and the calling of God are without repentance. The promises God made to Abraham, Isaac, Israel and David stand firm and are irrevocable.

Let us pray for the people of God and the coming kingdom of Christ, Whose word is unchanging, Whose truth is unchangeable and Whose kingdom will never fail.

How often we too do not understand the greater purpose of God and focus our worries on the immediate, rather than resting our confidence in the ultimate plan of God. It all comes back to trusting our lives and our futures into God's hands, knowing that ALL things work together for good, to those that love God, and are called according to his purpose.

Let us give thanks to the Lord today, for the indescribable blessing of the indwelling Holy Spirit in all who believe in this Church age.

Time in Eternity at Watchers Weekend

Before faith in Christ the nation of Israel (and humanity as a whole) was incarcerated by the demands of the Law and imprisoned by its devastating curse ~ a curse that could only be lifted by the ONE Who was made a curse on our account: "But since that faith had come, we are no longer under the guardianship of the Law." 

Let us praise God for His grace and favour and let us thank Him for setting us free, in Christ.
