May we, who have passed from death to life, love others as Christ loved us, and imitate the grace of God in our lives, knowing that the one who does good is of God, while the one who does evil has not seen God.

The perfect Law of God was the guardian to convict us until Christ, for Christ is the fulfilment of the Law on our behalf so that by His death and Resurrection, we could be justified by grace through faith in Him, for we are not under law but under grace.

Only good comes from the Lord but He will permit evil to flourish in order to forward His perfect plans and purposes. Let us remember that all things ultimately work together for good to those that love God, but we only see through a glass darkly and we do not always understand why certain things are permitted to happen in our lives and in our world.
Nevertheless, the Lord our God is from everlasting to everlasting, and our times and our lives are in His hands. Let us submit to His leading, guiding, training, and trust in His Word.

Our job is to listen to what the Spirit says to us, for the one that is submissive to the promptings of the indwelling Holy Spirit is that one who will be guided into the truth of the glorious gospel of Christ and be given godly wisdom and discernment in every aspect of our lives.

For those of us who have already trusted Him for our salvation, during this post~Cross dispensation of grace ~ we have already had our heart renewed and our consciences cleansed, through the eternal Spirit, Who has taken up permanent residence within our heart and soul.
Those of us who have already trusted Jesus as Saviour ~ Jew and Gentile alike, have been made ministers of this New and Better Covenant, because we believe in JESUS the Son of God and Son of Man, Who willingly offered Himself, without blemish to God ~ for our sake.

AGE RANGE = 16-20s. Younger teens often attend with family or friends. Older singles and families also come.
FOCUS = Bible study and solid teaching. 28 meetings in 5.5 days. Half the meetings are Bible study on the chapters. Half are expository and topical teaching on the material.
POSITION = Conservative evangelical, dispensational, pretrib rapture, prophecy always on our radar
STAFF = high percentage of adults to campers, with many older campers
TOPIC THIS YEAR = First 12 chapters of Genesis. Creation, fall, curse, flood, Babel. Strong implications for prophecy.

Christians similarly must walk that same spiritual path as their heavenly Lord, with the same humble mind and the same teachable disposition that was displayed in the life of Christ Jesus our Lord ~ so that we too can access the mind of the Almighty Son of God, as we abide in Him and He in us.

May we, like sheep who know the voice of their shepherd and stay close to him, know the voice of OUR SHEPHERD. May we choose to stay close to HIM all the days of our lives, not going astray, tempted by the empty, glittering, hollow trinkets of the world, but walk in HIS way, to HIS glory and our eternal benefit.

Jesus went to the Cross in obedience to the Father, for His heart~cry was always, "THY will be done" ~ THY. He went to the Cross to redeem His people Israel... and for love of His people, and all who would believe, He prayed, "Father forgive them for they know not what they do." He went to the Cross for love of the Church and He went to the Cross and endured the pain, for the joy that was set before Him. The Son of God ~ Who is God the Son, despised the shame and stretched out His arms of love, embracing ALL who will believe on His name.

Nothing is more thrilling for a Christian parent, or a believer who has been influential in pointing one younger in the faith to the truth of the gospel, than to see them living according to the truth, walking in fellowship with the Lord Jesus, living in submission to the Holy Spirit's guiding hand, living under the influence of the new man in Christ (and not the old sin nature), and reflecting the grace, truth, love, and humility that flows to them from their Saviour.

When we choose to turn to the world for sustenance and supply in times of difficulty or ease, it means we have turned away from Christ ~ and in so doing, we inhibit or quench the inner workings of the Holy Spirit. When we start to trust in anything other than the Lord Jesus, we are looking to the wrong source of supply and allowing the old sin nature to govern our lives, rather than the new life in Christ which we received at salvation. The eyes of the Lord are still searching out men or women whose heart is completely His so that by grace through faith, Christ may be formed in us.
